Alternatively, he knows what he is missing and has respected it, even if it's not favourable for him.If that's the case, then LVG doesn't know what he is missing.![]()

Unless, of course, LvG has identified another player that he feels will fit into his requirements for the team better than Vidal would, or one that he feels he can develop into a better player.
They also didn't say "Vidal is not for sale" they said "We will not put Vidal up for sale" which is completely different. It's suggesting that they won't actively try to sell him, but would accept a bid high enough, just like anyone would.

It was a muppet frenzy on here before the Juve presser. It's dead now.

The dialogue from each side reminds me a lot of the van Persie transfer so far.

99.99 still?
It's quiet... too quiet... I'm suspicious... something's going on here... definitely the calm before the storm!

Well he said he's prepared to wait a month and see how the current players fit his system, and if they don't he'll purchase players. Surely he'll purchase players he'll know will fit his system, and not another unknown player in Vidal?
Yep, he said he'd want to evaluate the squad over a month period to see if they fit his system and if not he'll have to bring in new signings. He actually said he is prepared to wait a month to see how the current players fit?
It'll take him 5 minutes to asertain that Anderson, Young and Fellaini are complete horseshit.
David May has to be on the caf

Yeah, I wouldn't expect any imminent departures or arrivals. Not 'til after the tour at least.Well have at it then LVG... a month tho?!

If he's going to be so democratic about it... I wonder how the lads will talk about Ashley Young!Judging by his comments RE: Carrick, we may see him dipping into the market sooner rather than later regardless of what he said.
Especially after he meets Fellaini...![]()

He's overestimating himself, not the squad. This is a man who reckons he's the dogs bollocks! If LVG doesnt have at least Vidal or another solid CM lined up he is seriously overestimating the squad.
he should know that we at the very least still need a CM and a CB of the highest calibre.
Maybe time to close the thread .For a month at least.
Good to know I won't need to check this thread every 2 or 3 yours for the next month then.
Well it would probably be true to be fair.Watch the media go with a "United step up Vidal chase in the wake of Carrick injury" headline tomorrow morning.
Every 2 or 3 hours? You sir are an amateur.
Not good. The only silver lining to that is that it could force van Gaal to buy a CM.Carrick out for several months according to Skysports
