No, the thread title is misleading.

The club said they have not put the player on sale, not that he is going nowhere (see the actual quotes).

They also added that in the end it depends on the player.

Nedved (Juve director) also said that if a big bid come, they will have to consider it.

No they didn't say that. Moratta said he's hopeful that Vidal wants to stay and that it's up to the player ultimately. He said that Juve have not put him up for sale not that he's not for sale. Go read it again.
 
It definitely won’t happen before he goes back from holiday. Even if it’s done, we won’t announce it in a week or so.

I’m not sure what is going on exactly but it seems both Juve and Vidal are preparing media and fans for a move.

It all went cold for a moment with our transfer activity, and I have a feeling that next week is going to be exiting. It seems players are going back after WC and holidays.

Just got off the phone with Vidal's agent and he has told me Vidal is joining #mufc

I think this one ends any chance the guy was for real :lol:

I can't help but feel this rumour has zero basis, and is based on what people want. Surely if this was happening, Vidal would have cut short his holiday and done his medical and everything by now? Someone has also pointed out that Every reputable journo has pretty much said it's not happening as well, Ogden, Jackson, Ducker, Di Marzio have all stated that we haven't even approached Juve.

This isn't even a Muppet thing, we are so short on quality midfielders it's not even funny any more, But ffs surely we deserve 1 summer of actually getting 2/3 top class players in, instead of bringing in Vermaelan and De Jong. :(

As it has already been pointed out only Jackson said it wasnt happening and its become abundantly clear the British Press have absolutely no clue what is happening.

Let's look at the things know.

Juve, Vidal and his agent have all refused to outright deny he won't be moving despite having several chances to do so.

United are after a marquee signing and we pretty much know we will be buying a midfielder.

Chile and Italy's leading journalists are all adamant a deal will be going ahead. United are clearly keeping things water tight at our end, whereas Juve seem far more likely to leak.

Juve are spending money they don't currently have.

Bookies make us overwhelming favourites to sign him, with Sky he is 1/12 to sign.

LVG is a known admirer of the player.

Vidal has put his house up for sale.

All the information we have against this deal happening is coming from the Daily Fail (who's more recent article pretty much contradicts everything they originally said) and The Mirror.

Not saying it will definitely happen by what seems the more solid evidence?
 
that he has not denied it himself is an indication that negotiations are taking place. whether they will be fruitful who knows

Plenty of accounts have been banned. It just takes the poster a min or so to look down the tweeters previous. One very quick scroll down would show that "freelance" twat was utter nonsense.

I agree, vidal would make sense especially the amount of cash alonzo khedira and di maria could bring in, and the wages off their books. They may keep alonzo though
