Aston Villa VS Manchester United

So fecking easy

The away fans have been fantastic

We are playing breathtaking attacking 1-2 football at times.
Tevez and Rooney are playing like they've been playing together for 6 years

Despite the goals, the highlight of me was the paper airplane landing in front of the keeper as Rooney's shot sailed over the bar. What a precision throw from a fan.

Get the feck in there.

Tevez is Awesome.
Rooney is God.

Would like to see more from Anderson.

Main thing is that Rooney is playing up top, and Tevez is playing off him. That is how it is supposed to be.

Was a nervey opening, but the lads took over in the end. Someone was bound to score early on with that sort of end to end play. I think Villa's goal calmed us down and made us focus. Fantastic on the lads to come back and now have a 2 goal cushion.

UNITED, how football should be played...

Fantastic.

Can't be bothered to thrawl through the thread but where is Ronaldo? Fantastic first half

as i stated villa would continue to look for the second and we would create chances. Sometimes its worse if you score first against United. It brings us out of our normally defensive nature and allows our players to open up and express themselves.

Villa created a chance or two and didnt take them and we punished them

To be fair, Anderson shouldn't be playing in this game. We should have gone with Pique in the middle. Away from home against a fast pacey team, we probably needed a defensive minded midfielder alongside Scholes.

Anderson is quality.

Tevez & Rooney seem a fecking fearsome pairing nowadays.

All good! ROONEY ROONEY ROONEY! Hattrick's coming...

Bring on Ronaldo to make it more fun with our kids.

Opening goal should never have been allowed. Player bundled VDS over and while the player was getting into an onside position as the ball was being played on goal, he obstructed VDS line of vision.

Meanwhile, I found this gem on a scouse board:

"I hate refreshing this thread,*** I always expect the Scum cuntyfecks to score."

They just cheated their way into winning their local derby, and the poor fecker is still bitter.

Didn't see that half coming. :)

Rooney and Tevez improving ever further whichis good to see.

One thing though, Setanta's sound quality is crap.

Yeah Roon and Tevez look to have a great chemistry on the pitch, Nani as well has looked promising. Great to see us back in form. I think Anderson has shown a lot of good stuff so far, despite errors

Our attacking 1-touch-destroying-indstructable-whatever you call it-football is back.

..And the #7 aint on the pitch yet.

Good stuff, good stuff.

Phew! I had no idea Villa were so poor defensively. I should have remembered the Spurs game.

Might be a good idea to bring Simpson on for Pique. We need to be tighter from crosses so better to get Brown in the middle and Simpson will be better getting forward. Pique has been all over the place.

I'd like us to get Fletcher or O'Shea in the middle to tighten things but I'm not sure who we would take off. Giggs has been pretty poor but you want the experience in there.
