Aston Villa VS Manchester United

Giggs Anderson Scholes Nani

Fresh players. Only Nani played for his country and he only played 30 min against Kazakhstan.

Pique and Brown the wrong way round in that line up surely?

With no Saha, i can understand the reasoning behidn having Ronnie in reserve, so that's no problem for me.

Would've had O'Shea or Fletch over Anderson, but if Sir Alex thinks he can handle the step up in the quality of the opposition, both as a team and more immediately in his part of the pitch...i bow to his greater knowledge.

Good team really, more than capable of winning.

I hope he doesn't bring on O'Shea instead of Fletcher if the midfield is too lightweight:nervous:

Well, its hard to see how it won't be too lightweight. I think we may have to score more than 2 goals if we are to win.

Expect Scholsey to pick up a booking and then, repeatedly, come close to a second one. :nervous:

That team's more than capable of winning this game, not concerned.

Ronaldo on the bench if needed, no worries.

looking forward to seeing Anderson again too.

He looked promising last game he played.

Help

Can somebody explain to me, how I can watch Villa v United on the internet? I can never seem to get things like 'tv ants' to work.

I'm sorry if it's against protocol to make such requests in a matchday thread but I would be very grateful to anyone that can help.

He looked promising last game he played.

Big difference between Wigan and Villa though, that's my cauitonary note here, particularly the Wigan of the second half that were mentally defeated for the bulk of it.

A whole different kind of test this'll be, we'll have to hope Anderson is ready for it.

You'll never find out if you dont try it though. Fergie did that with Ronaldo, Giggs and many other young players. Just play them and let's see if they're ready or not. Anderson obviously has the quality to be a world class player, so he should get his chance

If Nani is on the right then he is going to have to be really disciplined and track back to help Pique. I worry about Pique trying to cope with Young's pace.
Anderson is going to have to work really hard to help Scholes. I don't like the idea of Scholes in a DM role.

If we win this game it will be huge because it will mean we will have asked our young players some big questions and they will have answered.

I'll be posting in here. So will the gimps please stay out.

Thanks.

True enough, no doubitng he can become by any means.

Just think some on here would rush him unnecessarily is all. Though needs must at the minute too, i'm not lacking faith.

;)

What's the sopcast address number?

Cheers

I'm surprised at the attacking midfield - was expecting O'Shea or Fletcher for solidity.

Sultan will know my worries about Pique's pace at RB - no worries about his overall ability.

I'm surprised Simpsons not playing.

My link just got shot. Looks like sopcast have taken it down, I f anyone has link I would be truly filled with glee if you could pm me it.

feck me, thats one surprising lineup. Fletcher did look rusty midweek, but i expected O'Shea to be in the middle.

Anderson has obviousally impressed SAF massively. No Ronnie obviousally due to tiredness. Should be a great game lads :D

Vidic still out with that concussion, that's a bit of concern
