The ball was on the ground, hardly moving and an easy target. Petrov made the most of it like he did last season when he got Bilyaletdinov sent off for the exact same thing, and I agree with the commentator he shouldn't have got more than a yellow. No way should you get a three game ban for a nothing offence that wouldn't even be a free kick 10 years ago.
