Barcelona - a lot of moaning about them and some praise

Nobody has said he shouldn't have the right to ask his question.

By the same token, he should go and write a blog if he doesn't want to hear objection to it.

here:

That's just stupid.

Are you retarded?

Danny just doesn't get it does he? He obviously wishes City's Sheikh had bought United, fyi Danny, I don't.

4. I already answered your other question you dumb feck.

In short, you asked retarded questions.

You fecking retard.. Sometimes I wonder if some people are intelligent enough to inhale oxygen on a constant basis.

Was Danny dropped on his head 1982 times?

as i said, write a blog

If you were offered to exchange our team with Barcelona's now, the whole team, will you do it?

What was your reaction to Rooney wanting to leave? Or Ronaldo?

Loyalty only expected from players eh? fecking abuse any player that even the media report as looking for a move but without batting an eyelid say you'd swap the entire team for Barca. Excellent.

Regarding the question, No. Not a chance. There's more to football than winning games.

This post of yours in no way addresses the bullshit that you were called on initially anyways though.

He's not a United fan. That much I am sure of.

Anybody who'd swap the entire team for Barca cannot be a fan of the club imo. Supporting the club isnt, by a long margin, about being the best in the world. Having read his posts about Barca from my time in the newbies, am not even surprised.

LOL! Quoted 17 times in 15 minutes! You tell me who is having nightmares!

Ok ok.. There is no way I'm answering / quoting back every single post, so let's just test your honesty a little.. I'll ask you a clear question, and I want a one-word-answer. Yes or No.

If you were offered to exchange our team with Barcelona's now, the whole team, will you do it?

:lol::wenger:
Reading your warning about the your upcoming question got me interested in it but when I read it ....

Everyone ganged up on Danny, to be fair I agree with some of what he says.

And some of you really are bitter cnuts who cannot seem to enjoy great games of football.

The match thread was far more negative than positive.

This. And especially that. Frankly its embarrassing how bitter some of the comments come across. I was going to comet at the time but couldn't be arsed

It isnt about being bitter towards Barca mate. Real and specially Pepe got a lot of stick too. There were even posts saying the thread should be renamed to make it Real and Barca. Its just that some find the diving and the playacting too difficult to digest to be able to enjoy the actual football on show. I dont personally, i really enjoyed the game as the quality of football was of a very high standard, but i see where some of them are coming from.

here:

as i said, write a blog

Come off it, Marcos, you come in to a thread and label everyone in it as bitter then follow that up with a list of nonsensical crap and you've got to expec some backlash.

You also conveniently ignore the stupid little insults that he's thrown around. Guess that's ok though because he shares your opinion.

Yes everytime one disagrees with another person, one should write a blog about it, that's an excellent idea.

Let's just call it La Liga is Disgusting (or pointless or Scottish or a pus filled carbuncle of a joke compared to the Premier League's Giants Amongst Men) - which I think was pretty much the name of the main La Liga thread for the first part of the season. People can then come in and complain, whether they saw the match, watched the youtube highlights, heard about a gif, or ate a bad mussel in a paella.

That's the important part here.

I really don't get marcos' problem, 99.9% of of us would happily admit that Barca are the best team in the World, but why the feck can't we talk about a side of their play which is quite frankly disgusting? What makes that "bitter"?

Do we not/have we not in the past slated the likes of Porto for acting the same?

Personally I really enjoyed the FOOTBALL the other night, but yeah, it certainly does take the shine off for me when I see players like Pique doing that.

In Marcos' eyes I guess the diving/faking injury is fine and should never be mentioned because of one simple reason, Barca are better than us. Is that the case?

Marcos, if you can't see how ridiculous Danny's post regarding "Barca didn't invent diving" or the post asking if we'd swap all of our players than you need to give your head a shake.

By the way, the way you try to turn a clear question with a clear point behind it into a childish "I love United more than you" game is really pathetic..

Let me tell you something.. You are wrong if you think you can tell people who loves United and who doesn't, because United is not your own property, and if it were I assure you, you WILL swap OUR Rooney with Messi if offered, and OUR Carrick with Xavi if offered, and OUR Fletcher with Iniesta if offered, ..., and denying it will just show you as a lying hypocrite, not a "loyal fan".. Because every year we spend a lot of money to try to improve our squad.. We love UNITED, not specific players, that's why Tevez's fans left with him, and Ronaldo's fans left with him, and the real United fans are the ones who stick with the team..

Of course the question wasn't even about our players, it was about a hypothetical scenario in which the current Barcelona players would represent OUR team instead of Barcelona. Would you be OVERJOYED that United won 13 of the 16 possible trophies in the last year, or would you make a separate thread about how disgusting we are because "Busquets dived"? The fact that you make a separate thread about a very successful team (probably one of the most successful teams in the history of football) calling them disgusting for something many teams are guilty of, just shows us as bitter fans..

Oh and this "but not all the posts are talking about Barcelona" is just laughable.. Of course people in all threads will say different things about any subject, I had a lot of posts in this thread earlier that disagree with the OP, does that mean I'm criticizing my own posts? I can even make a post in it now saying that "I hate Apple", does this suddenly make this thread about Apple? What kind of nonsense is this? The subject of a thread is determined by the OP and the title of the thread, and we have a 33-page thread now that's named "Barcelona are a disgusting team" which I find embarrassing, and that's what I was criticizing..

i think everyone is getting all arsey over nothing, imo the fella just meant he'd love to have players of that quality at our club, then the usual suspects all ganged up on the poor chap and things took a turn for the worse.

jd, I offered him several less retarded alternatives to his question, which which he declined to take up.

He meant his bloody question.

I think you've spectacularly missed the point again Danny, of course we'd swap a few players with Barca, not one single poster would deny that.

And I think you really misunderstand the mentality of United fans because we'd be disgusted if our players faked injury like Barca do, it's the bloody English mentality. SAF for one wouldn't stand for it.

Would I be delighted with the football they play and the trophies they win... feck yeah!

how do you know that Pep stands for it though? all his players might get bollockings in private.

Because they keep doing it repeatedly, so obviously he stands for it. His reactions on the sidelines too every time one of his players goes down like he's been shot.

thats not really proof of anything though is it,Fergie normally defends his players publicly and then bollocks them in private and over the years he's also danced up and down the touchline putting the refs under immense pressure with his sharp tongue and his even worse "fergie stare"

To be honest I'd fed up of the subject.

* As I've said many times, Barcelona are the best team in the World, I also think they are probably the best team ever.

* I fecking hate that they dive/fake injury and generally act like complete cnuts, especially in El Clasico. I also hate that Madrid have their own way of acting like complete cnuts in El Clasico. I think it's completely utter despicable and would feckING HATE my team to do the same.

* I really respect that in both Champions League finals, Barcelona acted gracefully and completely showed us up.

Apparently writing the above on a United board now makes me "bitter", what a complete bunch of fannies you lot are.

Are you playing silly?

If a manager doesn't like something, he'll get it cut out pretty damn quicky, make no mistake about that.

We even had a poster who admitted not watching the game live, watched it on sky plus whilst fast forwarding taking in about 5 minutes of the game and still slated it.

Yep, and we really do have some disgusting posters on red cafe ;)

Nope, in fact I agree with most of what you said there, and if this is your opinion I don't really see why you thought my posts were directed at you.

Swap players.... that summarize your point.

look at all those games we had with Arsenal about 10 years ago, every game was full of incident, that didn't get cut out pretty damn quickly did it.

Pretty sure SAF was happy with that.

Strangely enough I've never seen a game where 5 or 6 of our players roll around the floor without being touched, I wonder why?

anyway,i'm leaving this thread,i only popped back in cos the mob mentality and abuse irked me.

"Mob mentality"?

When 3 separate posters multi quote your post at the exact same time to slate it, that isn't "mob mentality", it's proof that you've probably written some provocative/drama queenish.

Sharky, you should give it a rest. You come as a bit of twat in this thread.

Until the next classico and some idiot bumps this shite thread

Yes, obviously, and as I said above, they tend to be much less cnutish in those games, although Alves and Biscuits are still likely to entertain the likes of yourself and Marcos.

To be honest Barcelona are no more than any other team when it comes to diving generally, in my opinion.. They are just getting more attention because they are watched more than the rest, they are more successful than the rest, and because they are mostly watched during El Clasico which usually turn ugly because Madrid aren't innocent either.

Yes when they meet aggressive opponents (like Real Madrid) they tend to dive more than usual (although I still think some are over-exaggerating it, as I didn't really see 5-6 Barcelona players diving in the last Clasico for example), but apart from those few exceptions (which apply to most teams to be honest), they are just a regular team in my opinion.

You come as a bit of twat in this thread.

I disagree, through the entire thing I attempted to give Danny pointers as to how he could get his point across better, he himself choose to stick to his original bizarre drama queen tactic.

And to sum up why he was being a drama queen:

1) I don't think anyone likes the thread title.

2) I think 99.9% of posters agree that Barcelona are a sensational football team.

3) I think a good few posters would like to be able to comment on the "ugly side" of Barcelona's game without being called "bitter".

4) I think most United fans wouldn't swap our entire team for Barcelona's, for obvious reasons that are not related to ability or diving.

5) I think 99.9% of United fans, if managing a hypothetical new club, WOULD choose to buy Barca's squad over United's.

So I don't understand what Danny's real issue was? Most posters tend to agree with him on the main points. It feels to me that Danny has a serious problem with "point 3" which, in my personal opinion of course is drama queen to the highest degree. He could do with understanding that some people just don't like watching grown men fling themselves to the ground and roll around when they haven't been touched, the likes of Ronaldo and Nani got slated by their own fans for it. That isn't "bitterness", it's just a matter of taste.

If Danny would choose the opposite on point 4 then that's his prerogative, but one I personally find disturbing.

Until the next classico and some idiot bumps this shite thread

This I agree with.
