Half time, really good game despite being a friendly. I'm a little shocked at the amount of diving by Barca, Iniesta tried one as well just before half time but the ref spotted it and played on.

It's only a friendly but seriously I'm pleased about the performances of Welbeck and Cleverley. Nani has been in different class though.

Welbeck and Cleverley did well that half. Nani our star man. Rooney very disappointing. Not convinced by Ashley Young; expect Park to start our early matches. Anderson and Evra a bit careless at times.
Nani has been very impressive, has taken the pressure off us in possession sometimes which is very good for someone playing out wide.
Don't think you can card a player when there's contact between players. Fabio's mighty bosoms where just to much for him.
ok its pre season but we have looked good. Cleverly's best game for us so far. I like how we are playing ourselves out of trouble instead of doing a Liverpool.
This half was all Nani. Been our best player defensively and in attack.
Welbeck has shown his class again tonight. Nani has been top draw! His composure, range of passing and even defending have been great.
Played pretty well. Watchable game. Nani and Welbeck have stood out. Cleverley and Young have looked comfortable.

Nani's been very impressive this half as much for his willingness to track back and help out his full back as what he's done going forward. Nani's showed his maturity in the positions he's taken up when we haven't got the ball and has often brought a calmness to our defending with his willingness to keep possession and keep the ball moving. Certainly our best player so far.
However, he was run close in the first half by Welbeck who has been really, really good. Danny's defended from the front, showed a lot of energy and his timing and passing has been top notch. Its only a friendly mind but he's showing what he's got in his locker on this US tour and I'm seeing only good things from him in the future.
More generally we've been good. Based on other threads on this site right now e.g. on our midfield you would've thought the likes of Iniesta and Thiago were going to play us off the park but Anderson has done really well in some tight spots and has shown a keen awareness of space and other red shirts when required and Tom Cleverley has been a lot better today than he was in Chicago. He's seen the necessity in showing for the ball, coming deep to help out and I was pleased to see him throwing some tackles in there.
No saves for De Gea. Keep it going lads.

Well done so far. I think we've learned a few lessons since our last encounter. Our young players have looked very hungry and committed to the cause. Nani has been outstanding, Welbeck brilliant and everyone else has performed admirably.
