Titles teetles tootles

A smart remark does not answer a question!

It does. It's been repeatedly, mercilessly and emphatically demonstrated that Nani does not feature highly in the manager's plans. Young does. So why does the question even need to be asked?

Hello blonde German girl trying to get on Sky's camera!

Come on United!

Champions league music. I'm shitting myself now.

Guardiola to fall on his knees after we beat them 4-0 and shout:
"You were the wrong one Moyes! It was said you are a dinosaur coach, not a football genius! Why did Fergie love you!!!?"
To which Moyes whispers:
"You underestimate my power!"

Then Moyes places his hand to his chin, squeezes a clump of skin and pulls revealing the scaly, feathered head of a Velociraptor.
In a flash he leaps upon Guardiola, using his razor sharp talons to rend the flesh from Pep's stomach.
He feasts upon the remains of the late Bayern manager before spreading his dino-wings and flying back to Old Trafford.
The crowd look in in awe and disbelief.

A lot more pessimism in the thread than expected. I think anyone in the footballing world would agree this is a lot more even than it looks. They have a slight edge and that's it.

SAF not at the game?

Some lucky (and some unlucky) omens:

  • Last four games Bayern have played against English teams at home read like this: draw (lost on penalties), loss, loss, draw.

  • United have never won at the Allianz. Last time United came here, we lost courtesy of two late goals. fecking Olic!

I canee take the strain capt'n!! fecking nerves! The champions league song is playing in my head continuously! COME ON! The task is massive but play with the heart! I think we wont sit back as much. The second half of the first leg was very open, I expect something similar. We can do it! Keep up the intensity!

Uhm, Bayern are huge favorites but we showed last game we can fight against the odds. So we have a slight chance to win it as any team can beat any in one leg.

And you told me you didn't take any substances to make you look like that!

Although the last three meant nothing as they advanced to the next round after the first and third, and finished top of the group after the second. :nervous:

fecking Fletcher is starting?

Christ.

Apart from that, decent line up.

Fergie just sent a text to Silvestre (he's in the studio on Fox sports). It said 'Im in New York watching you on Fox'

Their only weakness is that they're facing Manchester United!

Cringeworthy stuff from Sky!

Welbeck please deliver, lad. I can see him with so much pace to exploit when Alaba and Lahm fly forward, too. Just get your shooting boots on, please.

Im buzzing now. Nerves are kicking in but we are gonna fecking win this. Come on!

I think Fletcher has performed the best of all our CM's this season so even if he played slightly too much lately I can see why he should start. I am more worried about Carrick to be frank, but considering he is a huge threat on the counter with his range of passing that makes sense too.

We have played only one game on Allianz.

Could be our last CL big game for awhile, just gonna enjoy and take this one in a little bit more than usual.

The fact that Sky are bigging us up with a chance, despite being a bit shit, just because we are Manchester United is little embarrassing.

If we are to win this match it's because the manager and players will be stepping up, not because it's "in our DNA".
