We will have £100mil in the bank. But much of that will be our cash flow used to pay wages etc.
If we didnt have that, we would be up shit creek.

It's to do with age. What 18 year olds can you name who've got permits on the special talent rule, because I can't think of any. Vela was man of the tournament at the u-17 world cup but still had to go on loan for two years before getting one.
I think that's exactly what it was.
Can anyone actually name an 18 year old who has received a permit thanks to the special talent rule?
Not really 18, but Anderson did receive the work permit just after playing 37 competitive matches, he just turned 19 at that time. Mikel also is another case who received a work permit after just turning 19. Both got it due to the "Special Talent Rule"
Yeah, presumably we delayed bringing him to the club in the first place because we were concerned about his chances of getting a work permit at the age of 17. Do we know if the rule has been tightened up in the last few years?
Denilson got 1 at 18 I think

At the base of all these rumours lies the fact that Sir Alex decided to tell the media he hadn't seen him play when it would've been judicious to prevaricate.
So how was Bebe today?
England Under 21s kept their hopes of qualifying for next summer's European Championships alive with a hard-fought victory over Portugal in Barcelos.
Defeat by Group 9 leaders Greece in their last match in March had left Stuart Pearce's side five points adrift but they closed the gap thanks to Daniel Sturridge's 35th-minute goal.
Victory for England in their final qualifying match against Lithuania on Tuesday should now be enough to send them through to the play-offs ahead of the finals in Denmark.
Pearce chose not to start with Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere, who made his senior England debut last month, while £7million Manchester United signing Bebe picked up his first Under 21 cap for Portugal.
David Simao had the first effort on goal eight minutes in but it was from a long way out and flew well over the bar. England striker Danny Welbeck then produced a clever flick to break into the box but Daniel Carrico was there to clear the danger.
The cagey opening to a game both sides needed to win was summed up 24 minutes in when England goalkeeper Frank Fielding was booked for time-wasting.
The visitors should have opened the scoring when Welbeck tapped in Kyle Walker's cross but the flag was incorrectly raised for offside.
However, England only had to wait seven minutes to put that behind them as Tom Cleverley played in Sturridge and the Chelsea man chipped goalkeeper Rui Patricio.
The same pair then combined again but this time Cleverley shot high and wide as England had to settle for a one-goal lead at half-time.
England continued to press after the break and Tottenham's Danny Rose had a close-range effort well blocked by Carrico.
Bebe had been largely disappointing but he tested Fielding for the first time with a shot in the 65th minute that the Blackburn man beat away.
The home side were cranking up the pressure and Fielding was called on again to save from Andre Pinto as the clock ticked down.
There was still time for Welbeck and substitute Nathan Delfouneso to both miss presentable chances but the win was all that mattered for Pearce and England.
From what I read in the match thread, he looked quite good going forward, won a lot of corners hit the bar but isn't that fit yet. The stamina training and that he's doing at the moment is much needed.
Anyone care to expand please?
Hopeless as a lone striker, but once he moved out wide in the 2nd half, looked a player. An huge turbo on him, with no lag whatsoever, very very quick. Showed a couple of nice touches too.
Fitness is/was an issue, but Fergie told us that, he still lasted the 90 minutes. He is a long term project in my book, but I am no longer afraid that we got some random bum off the streets.
Maybe you're making things sound a bit better then they actually were as his good play was only in the second half. In the first half he seemed to be being played as a striker and hardly touched the ball.
Promising enough overall though.
Flopped? feck me I hate the Daily Mail

The press are dying for the kid to fail just because they smell blood after Fergie's comments about not seeing him before signing him.
Fergie should have never made those comments, and united should have never disclosed the fee for the transfer. We painted a bullseye on the back of the young lads back and everyone who holds a grudge against the club or manager will look at Bebe as the soft target.
Fergie's a legend, but he played this whole transfer thing wrong from the very start and as a result there's way more pressure on the lad then there had to be.
Um we haven't disclosed the fee. The transfer fee is to this day undisclosed. The 7.4m is from the release clause that was in his contract but, no where has it been said we paid the amount for the release.
As for Fergie's comment on not seeing him - I'll say it again - it means nothing. Just like with everything Bebe so far from the journos - they'd have found something or make up something in order to take a swipe at us.
Had Fergie not said anything - easy enough to have them say Fergie is getting old and signing crap players and doesn't know what he is doing anymore. Then people here will be "Fergie should come out and say why we signed him - i'ts a mistake for him to keep quiet.
It really matters little what SAF says or doesn't say - they'll find something negative to pick on.

I've been reading that he's fast but based on this game how did his touch look? Does he look gifted on the ball in terms of ball control and dribbling?
