Don't understand why he was paired with Samba for all of their set pieces

Played well again took his two goals very well. Deserves his role in the team right now, would like to see him with Rooney next game.

He's looking good at the moment. Can't believe some called him shit after he gave that penalty away. He was one of the very few that made sense out there today.
He was there when we needed him. Once the defence is back from injuries and we start playing midfielders in midfield, we might be able to see a decent run from Berba.
He's earned a starting spot and good luck to him. The penalty wasn't great but I liked the way he grew in the second half and got us back in it. His doubters say he disappears when the pressure is on but today he gave us hope.
berba can hold his head high today. Other than his goals, his effort was top class. he should play against newcastle.
In the few matches he's been given, he's performed better than Chicharito and Welbeck.He deserves to keep on starting, great return from him recently
Nice to see he's getting a bit of support after a game where he played and we got beat. Makes a pleasant change.
He looked really up for it today. Remember him chasing and harrying to win the ball towards the end when most were just jogging. Has won back his place to be fair and its upto him to keep it now.
Couldn't agree more. I thought though that Welbeck was OK in phases but chico was no-where to be seen. (albeit playing well out of position)

I don't know what he was doing, dragging that Blackburn player down to the ground. That was a 100% penalty. Just a stupid penalty to give away.
Other than that, Berbatov was very good today. I'm happy for the guy and he deserves to start next game, alongside Rooney. For me, he's second on the pecking order.

Nani was awful, Berbs did well compared to him.
Oh, and the penalty situation, he should've had a freekick before that, Samba clearly pushed him.
Our best player out there with Valencia, again, despite this penalty gift. Tbf he had to mark Samba all game. That's not fair on a striker who doesn't even rely on his physical strength.
Did well today but I wish he'd just stick to scoring the one and then saving the other goal for another game when we might need it more.
Well he's gone from about joint tenth to our second highest scorer this season after just three games! Long may it continue

Excellent in the 2nd half yet arguably his biggest contribution was giving the penalty away. Still, he deserved his goals and didn't deserve to lose today.

good, but gave away a needless penalty. There was no danger where he was and he off all people should know that pulling a shirt in the box gives away penalties.
I can understand if he had slid in to clear a challenge and gave away the foul, but giving away the peno for shirt pulling, in that position, was a horrible mistake.

Call me old school, but this is what I have always said, I love watching the man play, to me this is true and beautiful football. Of course, I want the team to win, but you know what, to do it playing great football and showing that magic that Berba does when he plays.
