Berba will not be sold in January. What would be the point of loaning Macheda to QPR, and then selling berba. that would leave us short up front, and i can't think of any reason why Fergie would want that.

Unless Rooney has a dramatic loss of form, injury or falling out with fergie then Berba will only get the odd game. Saf has decided his favoured partnership is welbeck plus Rooney.
I feel bad for Berba, he's had a good run of goal scoring form recently and then he's back out of the team. Must be very frustrating for him. For example I think he should have come on instead of Hernandez against Bolton. I want to keep Berba because he's a quality player but then I think he's too good to just sit on the bench. I don't think there's anything he can really do to get ahead of Welbeck or Hernandez in the pecking order because his style doesn't suit Rooney as much as they do, and Rooney will always be first choice.

Some site had us linked to a trade with him and four million for Honda. I'd take that in a heartbeat. Maybe less than one.
Rooney welbeck Hernandez (Owen) Keane would see us through to summer with a bit of luck. There would seem to be little benefit in letting him go now rather than in the summer though unless we are looking at some kind of player plus cash deal (or simply to lighten the wage bill...). Don't expect a striker to be signed as a replacement.
