Berbatov | Fulham player

Its not funny when you aren't exactly setting the PL on fire.

He is doing well but not really enough to warrant something like this.

In fact the best players wouldn't do this shit.

Wow, I'm being accused of a sense of humour failure on the SAF-Pardew thread, and yet there's a dozen on here having hissy fits over what is obviously just a bit of team banter from a player enjoying finally being able to show what he can do. For all we know, he might have worn that top at the suggestion of his teammates. They don't seem to mind, after all.

We had a brilliant midfielder in my Uni team who used to score a hatful of long shots from midfield every season, and we all got 'keep calm and give it to Briggs' t-shirts made for our cup run, and when we won it he pulled one on. Was he 'arrogant'? No, of course not.

I bet he didn't have a hissy fit everytime someone didn't pass the ball to him and have a go at the lesser mortals when they fecked up? I played with a guy who was a class above the rest of the team, he played out of position and did his best for the team accepting that we'd feck things up.

I've only watched a few Fulham matches, but he's been the same old. He has a go at his team mates if he feels they should have passed to him. He did it at United too, except Giggs and Scholes.

He didn't, no. Rooney does, though. So did Keane. I've seen Wilshere do it a fair few times too. Within reason, I like it. It's symptomatic of someone who is genuinely desperate to win every single game. Arsenal could do with a few more of those.

Why all this aggression towards Berbatov though, Pete? Unfulfilled desires? Wish that big sexy Bulgarian was doing clever things with Arsenal's balls instead?

Every Arsenal fan I know hates Berbatov for some reason.

Nah, he's an overrated cnut who does have the bollox to really do it. He's emblematic of some useless up-their-arse cnuts I've played with.

Won 2 of the 7 matches he's started as opposed to the 4 wins out of 14 Berbatov has started?

Yeah. Since Ruiz got injured they've been rubbish

No, they won 1 out of 7 that he has started. He didn't start at Wigan, he came on late.

Nearly all their wins have come with Berbatov in the team. It means nothing though because you could probably say the same about Sidwell, Duff or any other player who has played regularly for them.

He can behave like a cnut at times fwitw but he's still comfortably better footballer than Oliver 'RvP's replacement' Giroud.

Well sort of. Fulham cant play without Berbatov either thats obvious. But he's also always in the team so like you say, that doesnt mean anything. He's also always in the team when they lose

Exactly. And he's done reasonably well for them, and is definitely one of two key players (the other one being Ruiz). He's surrounded by absolutely dreadful players though, his decision to go to Fulham was weird when he could be playing for Juventus. Without the two of them they'd go down like a rock in the water.

Eh? Fulham have done fine without Berbatossingoff for a few years.

With Dempsey, Dembele and a few other players slightly superior to the ones they have now. You did fine without Cazorla, Arteta and Koscielny in the past, take them out of your current team and you'd be struggling big time.

We have a far stronger team than you though. We have a striker you can only dream of in van Persie. All of our 4 strikers would start for you week in week out.

Yeah, yeah if we had the money to keep van Persie and take Rooney off you - you wouldn't look too fecking clever.

Yeah, and if we had Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta and Busquets there wouldn't be any need to play out the 38 games to give out the title.

Man of the match. Again. Ran the show at West Brom. Such a joy to see him play regularly again. i have the feeling some other big club will come in for him in Jan or the end of the season. That's of course if he wants to go. Seems he's enjoying his game at Fulham

Big credit to Dejagah too though. Had to hold the ball up a long time for Berbatov to catch up with the play after his pass and he did it with style

No disrespect to Fulham, but I can't believe he ended up going there out of all the clubs that should've been in for him. It was such an obvious quality signing at the prices being touted.

He had a good match specially in the first half.I honestly don't like his sulky attitude.I get that he's better than all of his teammates but if one of them misplaces once a pass to him he gets frustrated to some ridiculious level.

Juventus and Fiorentina had bids accepted, he just didn't want to go there.

Delighted for him. I still think he'll move to a bigger club in the prem or in Spain before calling it a day. He has many years left in him.

He acts like a right cnut when someone misplaces a pass, almost to a ridiculous level. If he didn't accept that was what was going to happen he shouldn't have gone to a midtable club where Steve Sidwell and Chris Baird plays in midfield.

Ya his on pitch attitude makes me cringe.

But he is still feckin goood. Too good for Fulham.

He's really help out a team looking for the 4th spot.

I just heard a Fulham FC advert on Talksport for Premier League tickets, stating 'come and see Berbatov and the team' the vain bastard will love that.

If Dembele hadn't left Fulham then as a neutral it would have been brilliant to see Ruiz, Berbatov and Dembele in the same team
