Scholes along with Valencia for me is one of the few who looks like opening this game up. Definately leave him on.

Not a bad half, although we are looking a little cautious and it doesn't help that Besiktas are getting back in numbers and defending pretty solidly. Not parking the bus though like some Premier League side as they are trying to make some thing happen too.
Carrick has been woeful again, although we have been trying far to many unecessary passes as a team and not keeping it simple enough at times. Team has seemed a little far apart at times, with no one backing people up.

Valencia is shit.... Honestly.... Whenever he plays he doesnt play the way I expected and should play... He needs to run with the ball not at flanks but at goal and he needs to run without a ball not waiting first the ball to comes to him and then run (wgich he doesnt even do) Berbatov needs to come into play and Park instead of Valencia.. I also expect to see Gibson because he can score from long range..... I want to see life.....
There's a huge gaping hole between our midfield and Wayne Rooney. We need someone to drop into that hole to link the two up. Anderson should if we're making no chances, Berbatov would be ideal.
The best moment in the first half was that tackle from Scholes right near the start, don't see the like much these days. Wiped out the player but legit.
