Birmingham City v Man Utd

Fergie really wants to win this cup, as this strong XI shows. I would have prefered a younger side including R Jones, Pique and Lee Martin.

Is that a question?..presuming it is and if so i think we need stregnthing in both positions equally.

That's not exactly suprising considering our defense this season though.

so i asked you, is our defence the reason for why our midfield is rubbish ?

We started well enough but we've let Brum back into it. They look the more comfortable on the ball. At least we've got a few big guns on the bench to bring on if this continues.

do u really rate slivestre
At his best he is outstanding, quite under-rated IMO.

He just has moments in pretty much every game where he chases his own tail or does something stupid. When he gets into bad form then he does this more frequently, thing is, you cant bring him back to good form without playing him.

He is a good player I think, but at the moment id play Wes ahead of him in the first team, as Fergie is doing.

I don't think he's as bad as everyone makes out. He gets a lot of grief that isn't warrented.

He's been a little poor at times this season though, don't you think?

Anything wrong with Bardsley?

At least i thought he be getting games in the carling cup games after he did well covering for Neville when he was injured. Really was hoping to see Martin as well.

Now i get it..yes the defense have to work harder because of our lack of a quality holding player in midfield but we have made too many individual errors in defense this season also which are not attributed to the midfield.

With Martin I think it was a case of Ronaldo needing a reality check and to give Park more pitch time

Not in the Squad.

Did he play for the ressie the other day?

If the last game was against Bolton, yes.
I wanted to see him play. He's so fit.
