Birmingham v Manchester United

Gibson? So he's going to be playing on the right? Or are we going to end up playing with nobody on the right :nervous:

We'll be playing three in the middle with Giggs, Rooney and Berbatov up front. Rooney and Giggs switching flanks.

The thing I like about Gibson is that he guarantees quite a few shots on target - you can say a lot about him but a few of our players have a bit to learn there

Incredibly harsh if we're playing him on the wing again, hopefully it's 4-5-1 with Rooney left.

The fog:

The bright light is possibly Mame Diouf's angelic hands reaching down to cleanse the fog.

Official Lineup:

VDS,
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Gibson Carrick Anderson Giggs
Rooney Berbatov

Subs; Neville, Hernandez, Evans, Fletcher, Obertan, Macheda, Kuszczak

Birmingham:

Foster
Carr Johnson Dann Ridgewell
Larsson Gardner Ferguson Bowyer Beasejour
Jerome

With all the fog maybe Gibson will hit a stealth screamer into the top corner. Or row Z. one of those 2.

He will probably kill a human or two in these conditions. Not safe at all playing him.

This. It won't be the first time we've played an away game with no one on one of our wings this season.

Hope Gibson proves my wrong but I don't have much faith in Mr. Shoot on Sight. :nervous:

Hope he's not played on the wing

Still enough on that team to see off bloody Brum. Chill !

Rooney, Berba, Anderson, Giggs, Rafael, Vida, Rio, Evra. All capable of slapping them around.

Don't suppose there's any chance of people not acting like utter cnuts about Gibson for 90 minutes, is there?

He's a United player after all and hasn't started a game in ages. Maybe we should give him the chance to impress, without making our minds up about him before a ball's been kicked?

Diamond formation? The onus will be on the full backs... Rafael and Evra are more than good enough in an attacking sense.

It's unfortunate though because teams like Birmingham are very difficult to break down down the middle of the pitch and we don't seem to have a great deal of natural width in this team.

maybe I'm in minority but I thought Gibson was decent against Sunderland when he came on.

It's bollocks mate. The harsh thing is that he has actually done okay when you look at his United career so far.
