Birmingham v Manchester United

Gibson for chicarito and play him up top with berb and let giggs and Rooney operate the flanks....

Really the game is passing Gibson by so maybe that change would spice things up a bit

Nah not poor by a long way , not much else we can do with the way Birmingham are playing.

Birmingham have been as frustrating as we have been poor in my opinion, we will get better though and they will get tired. I can see us winning it.

0-0 at HT is alright. Enough time to win this.

Although what I want is for us to start playing a little more attractive football. Away from home in Europe is fine, not away from home at Birmingham!!

Very ugly match, we're actually playing worse than Birmingham.

sounds good to me too , but when does SAF ever change a half time , very rarely.

Haven't watched the match but, sometimes I wonder why he thinks that giving another 10-15 minutes after the break will change things when the first 45 minutes have been dire.

Once in a while I'd like to see our subs given more of a chance to make an impact on a game that hasn't been going according to plan.

Gibson's been invisible so take him off and bring Obertan on or if SAF wants to keep the same formation, bring on Fletcher for Gibson.

Really should be playing 4-4-2, we look much better when Rooney is closer to Berba rather than Berba being isolated.

They're using spoiling tactics.

You can see why many of us were less than confident of our chances at winning here. Birmingham only ever want to defend. And playing with zero width does not help whatsoever. Should get in Fletcher for Gibson. Atleast he can cross.

Feel sorry for Gibson not his position, so cut him some slack. Hopefully Obertan comes on.

Still 45 minutes left to win this. I'm running out of patience with Rooney.

Everyone slats off Gibson but that bit out wide he had absolutely no support off the ball. He has nobody moving for him. That's our biggest problem, support for the ball carrier

Exactly, he was looking to bring it back but had another man behind him with no support at all. Gibson isn't Nani and nobody should expect him to be.

Not a classic first half by a long way , but what else could be expect with Birmingham playing the way they did.
Need more from some players , Gibson was well off this half.
Rooney has shown some glimpse's of his skill but not enough.

We've been very, very average so far. Don't want to mention particular players, the team effort just wasn't there. Birmingham are well up for it and thank feck Larsson has been useless at free kicks so far.
We need more width without a doubt, Obertan could do a job wide left with Rooney moving up top. Berbatov can't do it all alone upfront. Overall it's your typical away performance this season, just not good enough to get away with three points so far. 45 minutes of football still to be played though...
