I can't understand why we simply don't go into this game with the usual 442. Rooney up top with Anderson and Carrick in the middle.

I think Gibson's been the best player on the pitch....
On a positive note, Giggs has looked good. I want to see us use him more.

Gibson does make me chuckle. I wish him all the best always but sometimes I do wonder how he gets games for us.
He infuriates me more than any other United player I can remember.
He keeps getting put in fecking central midfield when it's obvious to the entire world that he a) isn't good enough to play there, and b) doesn't have a fecking clue how to play there anyway.
Plus, every single time he plays, we move half the rest of the team out of their best positions/partnerships, just to accomodate him.
Seriously, feck off doing this Fergie. It gets less amusing each time and that's considering it was never amusing to begin with.

Because 4-4-2 is the more risky formation. If you start with it, and it doesn't work, and maybe you go a goal down, changing to a less attacking formation doesn't make sense.

The younger players are getting frustrated and flustered. Rooney, Anderson & Rafael. Gibson is Mr Invinsible so far. No impact and off the ball - not doing enough. He's the freshest player on the pitch but his kit is probably the cleanest. He needs to take a leaf out of Carrick. Berba is too casual so far.
I hope Birmingham repeat this desperately negative, boring, defensive and pathetic performance vs Arsenal at the weekend.

I think you're slightly overrated his influence on us. He isn't that important.
Last I felt about a player the way I mentioned was Richardson.

He's had space and opportunities to get forward and cross so far, but he can't do it. It doesn't matter that it isn't his job. He's had chances but hasn't so far.

Gibson really really really needs to start imposing himself on games in the centre of the park if he wants to still be playing for us next season.

Doesn't matter, he clearly is just interested in blocking Rafael's run, so whether it was an elbow or not is just relevant to determine the colour of the card he's to be shown.
