Blackburn Rovers vs. Manchester United

Ht

Decent play from us.Blackburn have out muscled us and hence we have had the problems. The rain has also helped Blackburn more than us.Rio is class.Vidic a bit wayward.

Our midfield was completely over-powered in the first 20 mins.Fletcher and Anderson were shit. But soon started to take control.Anderson seems a different player to last season.

Berbatove slows us down.He may be a great player has superb talent but you can't take your own time for everything.

Why Rooney on the wings?Ronaldo has been average at best.

Berbatov has been superb. Anderson and Fletcher in total control.

You clearly should stick to kabaddi.

FT: Dominated the game after a slow start. But would like to have got a second.

I'm at work so can't watch the game. Some of you areloving itand some aresayingwe've been shite...and then the BBC have said:

'A very impressive performance from United so far, and worth hearing what Fergie had to say about Wayne Rooney just before kick-off: "He felt good and he wanted to keep his run going. When he gets into these runs he goes on a spell." Rooney has been brilliant so far.'

So what's the deal?

good stuff.

Kept the ball very well, created a few chances, and didn't give them a sniff. Can't ask for more.

Still a bit concerned about our creativity from midfield. With all the possession we have had, there'd be a lot more chances created with Scholes and Carrick in the middle.

Our fans are in great voice!

Some of the passing has been excellent at times, just a few wayward passes, individual errors.

Bascially it's looking up and theres just a few things to be ironed out before we start hitting top gear.

Some of you muppets obviously expects United to go to Blackburn an walk all over them.

Decent performance from us in the first half.

Agree.

Ronaldo hasn't been in the game enough..kept the ball and passed it around, but I would like to see him be more of an attacking threat.

Fletch needs to stop giving the ball away - he's lost it about 6 times now.
Otherwise pretty good first half, we're not far from finding the perfect rhythm.

Agree with Rapid. Fletch and Rooney had good chances.

Happy with 1-0 at half time. We should be able to hit them on the counter and nick a second.

Keep it up lads.

BBC are, more or less, spot on.

The caf muppets are, as usual, full of shite.

We have played pretty decent stuff, fletcher has done pretty well in midfield but why is rooney playing on the wing again?

We have been in control but we have been nowhere near our best that some posters are making out us as being.

We've been playing so much better since the players realized that they wouldn't be getting free kicks just for falling over.

This is our best performance of the season so far - reminds me of vs Aston Villa at OT in the rain last season, the passing and movement. Berbatov has arrived.

The goal was legitimate - Vidic is allowed to challenge the keeper. If van der Sar had let that in, I'd have been livid... at the keeper. He was far too soft and just seemed afraid of going in. Were his arms even above head height?

We *should* win this comfortably.

The passing has been excellent, the 79% to 21% possession over the past five minutes at that one point was impressive... Anderson's looked good so far in my opinion as has Berbatov.

Berbatov, Rooney, Evra and Giggs have been great going forward.

Rio is class as usual, and Vidic has headed everything.

We did okay. Expect a little more from the front three though - had it not been for Brown's effort, obviously we'd have been going in at half time still level.

I like the lineup. I think its the perfect personnel to play a 4-3-3 today and I think our midfield has been fine too. Just the front 3 need to practice a bit more together.

reading some of your comments, I dunno what game your watching. Good first half. An early goal in the second and we can breath a little easier.

Rooney is always brilliant as far as the BBC are concerned.

Good play overall, but would like better penetration into the final third by Anderson and Fletcher. We are lacking the final ball into the penalty area when Blackburn are camped back, but otherwise a very strong performance.

Evra needs to step up and show why he is Jesus #2.

I wonder what Tevez is thinking... he can't seem to buy a game at the moment.

reminds me of our midweek performance. I didn't see the first 15 or so minutes, but we've been fantastic since I've been watching.

We've improved from last weekend. We look far more solid in the middle of the park and forcing Blackburns play down the wings which we sniff out.

Started off a bit poorly took a while for our passing game to get going. But since then we've been very good. Berbatov is looking better and his movement is causing Blackburn problems. Giggs is able to thread passes through into our strikers nicely. Brown/Evra getting very involved going forward. We've been very professional so far and brushed them to one side.

Ronaldo however has had a bit of a stinker so far.

We're looking better game by game. Making fewer errors. I still get anxious at our defence in set pieces though.
Good movement today. Can see another couple of goals coming out of this (hopefully to us!)
