Bolton Wanderers v Manchester United

Worst ref I've seen in a long time now. No control of the match, can't make the right decisions if his life depended on it.
 
HT. Great saves from VDS. Vidic has been solid at the back. The camera is too bloody high.
 
So the ref was talking to one of our players (GK not even on the pitch) and didnt ask for the first corner to be retaken just gave another corner? Im starting to believe this Andy fellow...
 
The ref is going to be shitting his pants at the end of the game if we dont get the three points. He is going to face the wrath of Ferguson. He has had an awful game so far.

Bit of a weird half that, feck knows where that own goal came from. Fergie needs to tell Berbatov to be a bit more selfish in and around the box I reckon. He needs to have a few shots, even if he sky's them or hits the corner flag
 
Great we can count on OG when we don't have any strikers on the pitch.
 
Soild half ,Bolton have keep it tight and have made VDS pull off a couple of top draw saves.
OG was a touch unlucky for them but we deserved something.
In FM talk we all played okay , nothing to write home about.
Berba has just shaded it for Man of the half.
I dont think Fergie will be too disapointed about our play.
The ref is a joke and could cause many problems in the second half.
 
Atkinson, the same ref we hade against Pompey at home in the fa cup, chelsea away when he allowed Terry's goal, he was the linesman against Arsenal in 02/03 in the famous "offside goals" they scored.

His long range shooting is criminally underrated.
 
Shaky and inconsistent first half but to be expected away from home vs an up for it Bolton team. Lucky to be a goal up and in fairness, we were not really the better side 1st half. Great save from VdS.

But I do expect Bolton to tire after 70 mins and as long as we can stay in the game until then, our class should tell and we should win comfortably. Giggs and Scholes need to stamp their class on the game though.

Id be tempted to put on Macheda after an hour and play 442 with fast wing play and the 'hoof' down the middle. Think Macheda and Berbatov would suit each other and make a nice partnership.
 
Well done, own goal. No idea what Samuel was trying to do when he passed it into his own net. Not complaining though.

What's the ref up to? If anybody gets near Kevin Davies, it's a foul. And what the shit was that at the end with the corner? VDS wasn't even on the pitch.....
 
I still think we look comfortable. They will get tired of all the running by the 65 min. I expect us to score 2-3 goals towards the end
 
Bolton are being very physical, Evra and Nani being on the receiving end. Yet everytime we go near Bolton, they seem to fall to ground and the ref gives them a freekick plus he's given 50-50's in their favour too.

Yes, we haven't been at our best so step it up in the 2nd half please but this referee is an absolute cock. How could he give a freekick to Bolton there? Davies shoulder barged into Vidic, but the ref gives Bolton the call :confused:

I think this will be ugly in the 2nd half, Fergie was going apeshit.

Bolton will come right back at us this half I feel....we have to be prepared for it.

Berbatov has been seriously awesome...just in the wrong areas of the pitch
