agreed i think he is being to unslefish when he tried to play valencia through he could have turned to his left and the goal would have been gaping.
still i think he has played very well and although we scored an own goal we deserve to be ahead

VdS is such class. Scary much much $$ we are going to have to spend to replace him properly, else we will go through the Bosnich/Taibi et al debacle that we did a few years ago!
On the other hand VDS just made the save of the season. I believe he can fly. Because he was nowhere, the shoot was going in and suddenly VDSman flies in and makes an unbelievable save.
It also looks to me as Giggs stays more often than Berba at the top. Berbahas been everywhere even back to defend at the corners and free kicks. Giggs stays up top

I don't usually go in for all this bent ref stuff but if there is one that is, it's Atkinson. Total and utter cnut of a ref.
I expect Bolton to come out and attack right from the start , thats there style against us.
Second half will be a hard battle and this ref is going to make it worst

If there's one thing worse than the standard of officiating it's ESPN's coverage. I thought getting rid of Setanta was a good thing but Christ on a bike this bunch of clowns are just as bad.

Some thoughts on today's game:

- Evra, don't even think about getting injured!
- Valencia totally indisposed (has been for a couple of matches)
- Nani, if nothing else, is trying hard, he's been all over the pitch
- The rest are solid
- Elmander is a cnut
- Ref in an idiot

Giggs usually comes alive in the second half i really think it would be stupid to take him off now, better to give him 15-20 minutes just to see how he gets on
Nah. We need Giggs on the pitch. Even though he was silent was most of the first half, he can produce a pass that might lead to a goal like the first one. Valencia has been like the worst player so far. He is playing too defensive.

We have been quite good. Tough place to go
Yeah, that's the one that stuck out in my mind as well. But in general as well, he needs to be more direct. Obviously I don't know what instructions Fergie gave to Berbatov, but there has been one or two occasions where Valencia has looked to cross the ball into the box, only to have to pull up because Berbatov is stood 5 yards away from him on the right wing and we have no one in the box or something. Valencia's game looks to be suffering a bit from it as well I reckon as he looks a tad unsure what to do when he gets the ball if he has no one to aim at in the box. With Rooney playing it was simple for him- get the ball as close to Rooney as possible. He can't do that today because Berbatov is drifting all over the place, and Giggs and Nani aren't having the best of games.
Still, that said we do look comfortable and Vidic especially has been immense

I think hes had some stray passes but overall i think hes been better than what people here are giving him credit for.
But still every game i've seen of Giggs this season is hes below his best for the first half but by the second hes back in it
