Bolton Wanderers v Manchester United

Evans is an experienced and established first team player now though, whereas Fabio has yet to have a consistent run in the side to prove himself.

Yes, I know that but the reason Fabio has no experience is because Evra plays every game.

I'm not saying we should have rested him today, but the likes of Pompey at home, Hull at home etc were perfect chances to give him a breather but we didn't.

Resting Wayne for today is asking for trouble.

Bolton away is not the game to give Fabio a rare Premiership start. He would have got more chances this year with O'Shea out but for injury.

Kind of 4-4-2 depending of Davies position.

Didn't Fabio play twice in Europe this season, and started the season at rightback?

I agree. Read my post again.

No Rooney or Rio in a tough game in Bolton's cup final is the reason I'm slightly worried about our chances.

We rested a few at Bolton a few years ago and got turned over. Hope it's no the same today :nervous:

Jesus can we have some more faith in our lads please?

We're not a one man team, in spite of what the meeja like to tell us, we're plenty capable of beating Bolton without Rooney.

Nemanja interview coming up on ESPN.

surprised we have just kiko on the bench
esp as we have just 1 striker on the pitch

Vida looks a bit like a fish close up.

More disappointed with our bench. Gibson and Macheda both are inexperienced. I can only think that Rooney and Rio are injured. If they were fit they would be at least on the bench.

not happy with the team.... but i can see Rooney being rested. why Rio?

at least Fletcher is there to control the midfield.

3 big games in succession - probably more important nothing happens to him.

Evans / Vida are a top class partnership. I am not worried.

Oh noes, Berba up top by himself.......with only young Macheda as an option up top on the bench.

It is a pretty solid team otherwise just not sure Berba is at his best alone. Diouff must be injured, seems a lttle strange he is not also on the bench with no Rooney or Owen.

Well you think he is stupid enough to leave out Rio and Rooney in a difficult away game? Not even have them on the bench? Show the guy some respect you turd.

Do you make a habit of insulting people for having the audacity to disagree with your assumptions? SAF said in the press conference that Rooney isn't injured and it's not exactly beyond the realms of possibility that he'd rest players before a big Euro match, especially when the players being brought in should be plenty capable of beating Bolton.

Show the team some respect.

Er, we have bayern - tuesday, chavs(which is a pivota game for the league, arguably our most important) and bayern again on wed.

Its a make or break week for us after this game. And we need our 2 top players at the top of their game and fitness. They might have been playable but not a 100%, so it only makes sense to give them a rest. It is quite possible.

Why the hell are we resting players...... We are playing against Bayern who btw lost at home to stuttgart.... Rooney must play... He alos most score goals cos of messi.... Maybe this will be his only chance to be top goalscorer of the world

I thought De Laet was still injured?

Anyway, we need a big performance from Berbatov as he is our main striker. I'm sure he'll deliver (2 goals).

Then put him on the bench not out of the team....
