Bolton Wanderers vs. Manchester United

Rooney is an odd one. While he's going through a goal drought he aquires the first touch of a mule and can look positively conference level. Yet as soon as he breaks that goal drought his whole game alters and he's back up there with the very best.

He just needs a goal. Come on Rooney.

If Evans had fecked that up the way Vidoc just did....

Not seeing where you're going with these. Obviously he's not going to do everything wrong, but he seems to be averaging a mistake which leads to a goal against us per match.. that's just unacceptable. I've always been a huge fan of him and still think he'll come good (or return to previous form), but there's no denying he's been rather poor this season.

Chill out. There's nothing wrong with admitting that a player on your team can actually do something wrong.

stack is the toppest of top reds,he´s a much better supporter than the rest of us,we just have to accept that and move on.

Sure but nobody appears to be giving the lad any credit for any of the good stuff he does. Some of us actually like our team and want them to do well, some of you secretly want them to fail so you can moan because your clearly happier whinging.

Finally, Evra show up in the final third. Smell a goal here

We've been slow to get the game restarted at times. We need to win this, show urgency.

Evans is doing alright

He's looked dodgy for weeks now. He needs a break from the team to get his head straight. I'm sure we'll see the best of him before the seasons end.

We've been great until we get in the final third where Giggs for some reason keeps crossing over to absolutely no one.

We'll need 2 more goals atleast. Don't trust our defense to hang on for 45 minutes.

Bolton looked tired at the end of that half...if we keep concentration at the back we'll win this

And Rooneys played well, so some of the critisism is a bit off the mark. After people laid into his first touch he demonstrated 4 succesive instances of, well, a great first touch.

Its not normal that whenever i see Rooney on the ball i know nothing will come of it, its like hes lost that spark... Such a odd feeling, and i'd say this is the best i've seen him play this season!

Evans has done well since we scored our goal. Vidic has made more mistakes...

Rooneys well off form but starting to get into the game. We're slowly wearing them down, should be very open in the last 20mins of the game. More goals in this one.

Who should have taken Knight at their goal?

And who missed so Elmander had a great chance to give them 2-0?

Hard to call where this will go now. We look like scoring. We look like conceding. A draw would be a disappointment but not a disaster.

Rooney's looked better than Berbatov.

What fecking game are you watching? :wenger:

Berbatov has played well, held up play, passed well and brought players into the game when we've attacked.

Rooney has been very poor bar a great pass at the start and a decent shot on goal.

Very frustrating in a sense. We've looked very dangerous going forward but are so open that we can be opened up every time they go forward. It doesn't help that Evans, o'shea and to an extent evra are playing pretty badly at the moment. we've got a great chance to win this as Bolton tire but not if we defends like cnuts again.

Evans has been very good ever since the Goal scored by them, probably our 2nd best player in this half after Nani. That pass to Nani was simply majestic, very good to see!

I think I'd rather see Owen on for Rooney than watch him so out of sorts. Still think he should have had a day off today, to get his head together for Wednesday & reflect that he is not indispensible...

Berbs is keeping it simple. Rooney is the one coming deep everytime and trying to make things happen. Glad to see he's not hiding or becoming discouraged when things don't come off. If he keeps this up he'll create something in the second half.
