I am heartily sick and fed up of leave politicians ramming down our throats that the ballot paper said nothing about a deal.
It also said nothing about being worse off individually and economically.
It said nothing about 39 thousand million.
And it said nothing about what WTO trading arrangements actually meant or in fact what leave really meant.
Each of the 17.4 million people had their own individual view on what leaving meant and three years on we still have no idea at all.
Whereas each of the 16 million plus who voted to remain knew exactly what that meant.
Because we were already part of the EU.

I am absolutely convinced that most leavers are completely in denial of the damage they are doing. And the rest have no ability to actually think for themselves being brain dead.
They haven't got a clue what the consequences of their actions will be. Unfortunately only reality slapping them full in the face may register.
Even their utopia of a no deal brexit won't send the foreigners home or bring autonomy to the UK.
They'll just have to find out the hard way but the rest will suffer too.

You may have noticed that this week the EU have announced their new team of Presidents.....Think about that, TEAM of Presidents - anyone know any country / state / whatever that has more than one President other than than the EU ?? Let the rest of us know if you do....
Anyway.....For those of us who will still be trapped in the EU after the UK leaves, here are our new Presidents -
European Commission President - Ursula von dr Leyen. German, of course (largest financial contributer to the EU, so why not is the answer to those who might suggest that the EU is merely a way for Germany and France to rule Europe ) and currently the German Minister of Defence. A bit of a laughing stock back home in The Fatherland due to numerous mishaps in the German Military - like Frau Fatarse having to cadge a lift to Argentina on an Iberia schedule flight after her Luftwaffe plane developed a fault on its way there and admitting that her Ministry had spent € 000s of millions inappropriately to contractors - and despite how the Remainers in the UK poo-pooed Leavers claims as lies that the EU was preparing to create its own Armed Forces, is a full-on supporter of a United States of Europe with its own EU Army

Belgian, which is a very welcome new job for him because he won't even have to move home for it and which comes after he was turfed out as Belgium's Prime mInister in a vote of no confidence by the Belgium Parliament last December. Belgium being Belgium, however, he's still Interim Prime Minister , much like Mrs May, but while she goes back to being a a nobody constituency MP, Monsieur Michel is about to become President of almost 500 million Europeans without 490 million of those Europeanns having ever even heard of him, let alone vote for him as their President.
High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs - Josep Borrell. An archetypical Spanish politician, who will transfer seamlessly from being Spanish Foreign Minister to his new Gilbert & Sullivan's Mikado themed BusyBody, and who will be right at home in Brussels as he has a wonderful record of Public Service which has been blemished only by a few not-really-important scandals, such as -

They were all proposed by the heads of states, who were voted for and will be voted for by the MEPs who were also all elected..
Whereas the Uk PM will be voted for by up to 160000 Tory Party members, almost none of them voted for by anybody.

The next UK PM was directly elected to the UK Parliament as an MP by his constituency so has a legitimate right to be PM....Although I'll agree there should be legislation that if a PM resigns like May and Cameron and Thatcher there should be a GE. And if an MP switches party, a la Soubry and Umunna, there should be a by election.
But were any of these four clowns directly elected a smembers of the EU Parliament.?? And their appointments will be confirmed by MEPs, not voted for by MEPs - a huge but subtle difference.
And does the next UK MP have a criminal record ?? No idea, myself, but I doubt it.....

They could be voted against by MEPs and the Spitzkandidaten system wasn't used.
Johnson or Hunt are only voted by their local constituents , no-one else , just as MPs , no-one voted for either Hunt nor Johnson to be Foreign Secretary but they were because May appointed them as the heads of states (27 or 28) appointed the present EU candidates or rather proposed them.
Maybe the UK will one day use the French system when the PM is directly voted for by everybody.
Sorry but anyone trying to make out the UK is the pinnacle of democracy makes me chuckle.
