Bundesliga 13/14

As far as I know, he's on loan for two years, so I think he'll play in Gladbach next season. His contract in Leverkusen is until 2017. Haven't read anything about his situation in the last weeks, so don't think anything has changed.

Thanks. Is he good enough for Leverkusen you think?

Correct, he returns to Leverkusen in the 15/16 season.

He played a better season than Emre Can at Leverkusen did, imo. Like RedSky said, he could be a replacement for Bender or for Can (in case Bayern activates the buy-back clause for him).

Are there any front runners on managers taking over at Mainz? I hope for their sake they can keep hold of their young lads, Karius, Geis, Bell and even that lad Saller all have very promising futures imo. But money talks in the world of football, just look at Southampton!
Looks like Hjulmand will take over at Mainz. Interesting choice, I love new managers in the league. As far as I know, Nordsjaelland was his only job so far and he won their first and so far only league title with them. I think I've seen highlights of the 1-1 draw against Juventus last season, but other than that I know absolutely nothing about him.

Seems it's official now yeah. I honestly don't know a thing about him, but it seems he has done very well at Nordsjaelland. Could do a good job at Mainz.

He has to be the biggest coaching talent to come out of Denmark in many years. Favours a dutch-inspired 4-3-3 and at their best his FCN team was entertaining to watch; technically strong, and quite attacking. It was also a very young team.
I hope he does well as he comes across as an extremely likeable fella. From what I've understood from Mainz is that one of the reasons they've chosen him is that he -- much like Tuchel and Klopp -- is good at creating a sense of togetherness at a club; everyone is viewed as an important part of the club.

It will be interesting to see how he fares. Don't know how good his German is!

BILD are reporting that Bayern have made a €30m offer for David Luiz but Chelsea want a swap between him and Mandzukic. Apparently negotiations are at an advanced stage.

We are fecked lads, is all I can say.

On the other hand, swap deals are a rare thing.

What the feck?

I know! And I was thinking they actually wanted to improve our defence, not worsen it.. :(
Who cares about quality defenders, but think about the hair if we play him with Dante in defense :( .

What's great about that rumour, if we buy a centerback, we might start playing Martinez in midfield again

Yes, but we'd have David Luiz at CB. That is some scary thought, I don't even want to think about it.

It's utter nonsense anyway. Chelsea would prefer a swap for Mandzukic instead of 30m ? Really? No one will pay that much for Mandzukic, he's not that good and clearly 2nd choice at Bayern now after we signed Lewandowski. If Pizarro signs a contract extension, Mandzukic will definitely leave and I'd be surprised if he costs more than €20m.

this gonna be good! I hope it'll be two tense games!

Btw, Lasogga's interviews kind of remind me of Podolski and Kuranyi.

What's the story with Brandt switching clubs anyway? Was his contract due to expire that forced Wolsburg's hand or something?

He had a contract in Wolfsburg until end of this season. As he wanted to leave and not make a new contract at Wolfsburg they let him go half a year earlier with a small transfer sum.

The Dino fished the first relegation match at home with 0:0.

It was a really strange end to the Bundesliga season at the bottom, and a really lucky one for Hamburg. I believe they lost their last 5 league games, while their relegation rivals Nurnberg and Braunschweig repeated the same feat.

fecking HSV, should have gone down! At least there is hope for next season, they are awful so I can't see them surviving next year.
