Imagine the doom and gloom threads here whatever the result will be.

Justified, you've been fecking shite against a non league team.

it's still the root word

examples of other root words which are verbs:
run, hit, kick, suck, blow, swallow

You can't stick "The" in front of a verb though.

So the cnuts laughing during our game against Luton yesterday, who's laughing now then?

you lot had a full strength side out, were outclassed for long spells and let in three goals.

We dont have a single from our strongest XI in the starting line up and are far from being outclassed.

Theirs your difference.

Stop making excuses. Saha alone is worth more than their whole team and has played in international tournaments. Plus Rossi and Pique are amazing etc, a team full of internationals against a conference side.

solskaer needs only two minutes to score........remember??? or rather 4 goals in like 8 minutes...

Were obviously the better team, unlucky not to have scored and if we had scored earlier we would have scored 3 no probs.

Of course the muppets will see Man Utd 0 Non League 0 and have a field day but it s not as simple as that.
Like i said im happy as ill get to watch Utd on wednesday week :D

so the point is you won't agree on having a verb as the word of the week?

Something like that yes. They always need the word "to" in front of them in the infinitive, then they cahnge too much. Nouns are nicer, very stable. I love nouns.
