I have no qualms with seperating the art from the artist. I also don't judge those who hold artists up to certain standards, whether they're consistent or selective in doing so.
Never heard of that site but it sounds like the guy is just re-reporting old news that was first mentioned in 2014.
As @crappycraperson mentioned, one of the reasons to be wary of Alllen is the creepy relationship he has with his adoptive daughter, it makes the allegations more plausible for a lot of people. Michael Jackson's set up, the theme park in his garden, the sleep overs with his favourite children etc, for me it makes him look like the king of pedos frankly. Add to that all the hush money he paid (that we know about) and it really surprises me that a lot of people are able to continue defending and adoring him. Well, it doesn't surprise me actually because people see what they want to see.
My original point is why people want to hang Allen out to dry when there much is less there (for me) than there is against Jackson who continues to be widely adored.

To be fair to Allen, it was not his adopted daughter (she was adopted by Mia Farrow and her then-husband, before Allen was in the picture). It's a creepy relationship but not quite that creepy.
It would be a lot faster to name the celebrities that aren't sexual offenders.
He's even been in an on-off abusive/stalking relationship with his major partner Karrueche Tran since then too. It's like events like these work pervertedly to make fans even more rabid.
Indeed and it's difficult to interpret some of the stories. People do, do things they regret - when they sober up, when they realise they were lied to, and indeed when they hear someone else describe a similar incident as an assault. Things that were interpreted as a poor choice or a misunderstanding at the time can assume a different status later.
That's why it's hard to know what some of these things mean. But I also know that as a kid, things happened in buses and cinemas that I didn't report to anyone - some mix of pride and embarrassment (and a feeling that it's probably not even against the law maybe) made me deal with it myself, and assume that was that the end of it. Nothing reported, not even to the bus driver or the cinema usherette. @vi1lain has described an incident in this thread in a similar vein.
In a touchy feely industry where makeup, dressing rooms etc make nudity commonplace and the "live now, you're a long time dead" culture normalises some behaviours, it's hard to know what people accept as normal and what is normal.
That's why it's hard to assess some of the stories, particularly where there's a measure of equality in terms of power/status and age between the two parties. When there's no such equality - including when one person holds the keys to someone else's dream (as Weinstein did with most of his targets) that's where my willingness to believe in misinterpretation ends, and my instincts default to hearing an abuse of power.
I'm the same, sort of. I think it's basically because of what @Shane88 alluded to in his post - he's strangely revered in social media circles like Reddit and Imgur when all I see him do is make pedantic tweets or sanctimonious comments.

This story has been around for years, even I, just some guy in Sweden has known about for a long time. It really shows how hard it's been to expose these people, with the victims having been chalked up as loonies making up stories and so forth.
As long as this tsunami exposes the bad guys it doesn't really matter if some rare innocent ones get caught up in it, as this is the only method that truly works.

I think the fact Jacko is dead probably means we look back fondly at his legacy, but when the second court case came up he lost a lot of cache with most people and was largely derided and worse, forgotten about until he died, which then led to the outpouring of grief/love etc
