Evra is quality.

He's also a decent lad, i'm pretty good friends with him and we were playing on PES5 the other day and Patrice is pretty good player! He beat me when we played against each other. When he first came over (before I was mates with him) he struggled with his English but it's much better now like fluent etc..He says that it just takes time trying to settle when he moved from Monaco to us. Plus he's still young.

Great performance from all of the lads, except Evra who was shite.

Rossi didn't have the best of games, needs a goal but not too bad from him.

Renewed optimism going into the new season :)
 
Best thing is to see that Scholes is back and that our upcoming players are very promising.

Evra did not have a fantastic game, but he was not that poor. Still wont be a first teamer though
 
Carling Cup should be interesting next season, some of the lads were very impressive

Some of his crosses were immense

No messing around, got the ball straight into the box, set up a chance for Rossi which should have been buried and he set up the third goal.
 
Not getting carried away.But this was a very convincing win from our youngsters.
 
This was an incredibly one sided match to say the least. Unfortunately, Jones didn't have much of a chance to show his wares but we'll have to wait until next match. I think that Fergie ought to rest Scholes for that though. He has shown that he is back in good form, which will be a big boost to the squad this season.

The only decent thing he's done in 15 odd games is win that freekick against Liverpool.

great performance, evra did fine not sure why so many peeps are having a go at him?????:nervous: but Eagles is the one for me. Maybe needs a kick up the arse, but he plays with too much fear
 
I've always said that Martin is a fantastic talent. He does not dribble around, he playes it straight, he's quick and has a good eye for his players, a good crosser aswell.
Rossi was unlucky at times, but is still a bit too small to fight against the big and strong defenders, a loan move would be perfect

Forget the old season, give him another chance and let's see how well he plays, although i doubt he get much playing time with Heinze back. Some people have an opinion and nothing can change it, although it looks different on the pitch

Porto on the 4th August.

Far better second half for Scholesy. He crafted some really nice passes and had a few good efforts. I thought that centreback McShane looked pretty decent as well, very solid control and some nice passes too.

Sorry we didn't see more of David Jones though :(
 
Evra is just too eager to get stuck in without thinking, but he didn't play as badly as people are making out.

Martin was probably our best player, whenever he got the chance he ran at the defenders and caused them problems. Every single one of his crosses was superb.

I'm getting seriously fecked off with Jones being overlooked, giving Miller a run out for sentimentality when he has a talent like Jones on the bench. Fergie needs his head looking at.
 
Didn't see the game, sounds pretty positive from what I've read on here.

Celtic fans must be really worried about their teams lack of form, considering their season starts soon.
