Still have 3 weeks left on my MUTV subscription. Wife is away for a week and match is on at 2am here, so better go out with the lads, for a few beers!!!
How much does it cost out there? I get mine for free. If you get a subscription for the EPL you get MUTV, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal TV as well. MUTV is the only station with any professionalism in it. The rest is just old footage and reserve games.

Yeah, I have a secret spot that I use for downtown events. A bit of a walk but it's always available.
You might want to try Front St W and Bathurst area, there are usually some spots along Front St W before Bathurst..by the harley/lamborgini dealerships, etc.

the email I got said "professional cameras" so i would think that any camera with a lens on it. I'm sure a handheld camera would fine.

I've seen it as cameras capable of audio & video recording...but that's only if you get checked.
The Celtic support will be at a pub on the east side of downtown, forget what it's called though. There'll be loads of 'em out, too.
