Champions League Final 2016 - 28/05

Nearly every game in the last 10 between these teams has been a 0-0 or a 1-0 or 2-1, and people are surprised that it's boring as feck?

Modric is the best in the world in his position, easily.

Hoping to see a different mentality in the Atletico players after a good ol half-time bollocking by Simeone.

Sleep-inducing first half. Lack of quality may be understandable because the occasion can get to anyone, but the lack of intensity is surprising.

I don't agree with this Atletico are anti-football. They play defensively, and attack on the break. They are extremely well organised and play like a team with no passengers (not that different from Leicester this season)

So are teams who cannot match Barca and Real with money and luxury buys anti-football teams because they adopt strategies that may actually help them win? Ridiculous.

Why are people obsessed with saying Ronaldo doesn't look fit? Do some of you actually watch him often?

Yeah, they did the same against Barca in the league to great effect. Everyone assumed Zidane's an attacking coach because he was an attacking player but it's not proved that way. Looks like he's gotten the flair players to buy into the defensive work in fact.
This. I'm really surprised how organised we look under him. Not sure I like it but it's proving to work. Wish we took a bit more risks though, football needs to be a bit more exciting than this.

When your plan b is pot shots from distance you've got problems. Atletico have zero cohesion and the tactics of Real to hold shape is working perfectly.

Being a derby match in a champions league final, i expected a fiery encounter, but this has been a dud. The final of 2014 between them was way better and much more entertaining.

Expecting a turnaround. Pretty confident Simone can sort something out. Give Torres a kick up the arse. Seems to be a better sub in these matches.

Seen it few times in European comps recently how games totally change at half time, like the Europa cup final, could see Seville were going to come out totally different at half time.

Torres didn't complete a pass in the first half.

Wonder how intense the levels of hatred are in Madrid. Is the vibe more Celtic-Rangers or Liverpool-Everton or Spurs-Arsenal
