Champions League Quarter Finals 2020/21 - Apr 6/7 & 13/14

So if you guys don't know the rule, it STILL is a handball if the ball touches the hand after hitting the head if the player makes his body unnaturally bigger. It's what happened here. That's why rule 12 says "Except for the above offences, it is not an offence if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm: directly from the player’s own head or body (including the foot)
This is the bigger point imo

Yes, it was the right call. Can’s arm was completely in an unnatural position. City owes him dinner after the game.

That'd be fine if it hit his outstretched arm but it hit his upper arm, you're talking inches if thats unnaturally bigger

Can Madrid not be shit for 5 seconds please?

How is his body unnaturally bigger?

He's balancing to head the ball, which he does and the ball then hits his arm. Where else can his arm go there that would be natural, unless you expect him to face plant after heading it?

It's a mistake for me.

Think we needed to have scored by now to make this happen.

Is there a duller affair in world football than City sitting on a lead? My God. I'd foul them just to get something to happen.

I have to assume that other professional footballers could just keep the ball in their own half, but feel some urge to play football, rather than keep ball.

If I was in your position I’d think the same. But I think if they even score with 5 mins left they will win it

Right

Logical.

Yup, and we've had the opportunities too. Just don't look like scoring and too sloppy in the final third. Even with Real inviting pressure we're not doing much (if anything) with it - frustrating.

Odriozola and Rodrygo on. Zidane looking for some energy.
