Champions League - Quarter Finals

Wow you're like the anti-Rob

Luck is finally on my side. Last weekend I would have won a lot if Bournemouth hadn't conceded late goal, a couple weeks ago Messi scores one on one against Celta and I'd have made a lot. I have finally managed it though, and with my biggest stake yet. Still leaves a bit of a sour taste because I really did want -3 for a while there.

Bayern look like they fancy trying to overhaul Manchester United's quarter-final record 7-1 victory over Roma in 2007. They have taken the foot off the gas ever so slightly, but maybe that's because Porto are a bit more focused in their pressing.

@Niall

So that was the highest score line in a CL knockout leg?

Nah, there was 7-0 just the round before this one.

Over two legs, Bayern 12 - Sporting 1 (7-1 and 5-0) is the record I think.

Pastore might as well reveal that Barca top under his shirt.

I think we've finally found a player with a lower level than Wayne Rooney on crap days.

Come back is on! Bayern are playing like the game is finished, they pretty much asked for that goal. Still, too late from Porto.

Can't see Mesi scoring many more this season in this role.

Argh. Jackson nearly made the 2nd.

Ruben Neves doing very well.

Shame that didn't go in, would have made the game a lot more interesting.

PSG being so crap tonight is taking the shine off our moral victory against Chelsea

I think we all knew that the PL isn't as good as it's hyped up to be. We'll need to get up to the level of Bayern, Barca and Real. That's where we belong: competing with those 3.
