Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Enjoyed that half. Arsenal playing really well

Pretty sure cnut will have at least one major decision for Madrid if this continues to be tight till he end. Btw, is he reffing Real Madrid's every big game in CL, I swear he is there every time they play?
Yeah I've already had my annual Cnut Cakir whinge and can see him coming to RM's rescuse if needed.

Why is this incompetent ref still getting high profile games?
This is the style of refereeing that UEFA promotes - big presence, taking initiative, giving a foul when in doubt (or someone falls for whatever reason). Basically everything you wouldn't want a referee to be. And Cakir is all that.

It's what ruined Clattenburg, as well. Used to be a decent ref, before he got all those gigs in Europe.

Arsenal already had their share of dodgy penalties / penalties against not given.

The refereeing so far is absolutely pathetic. Then again, I'm not surprised - it is cnut Catcher refereeing a Real game. He has a huge boner for them. He would go and fellate each and every one of the Real squad individually, including the backroom staff, kit man and tea lady if he could.

Yes I'm still bitter about the Nani sending off.
Does Real Madrid have a tea lady?

Quite clear to me, Alonso clearly gets a touch on the ball. People must not be paying close enough attention.

The first two replays BT showed were inconclusive and looked like a pen but in the one above Alonso clearly gets the ball which the official behind the goal would have seen too.

The other angle makes all discussing of the "pen incident" laughable. He CLEARLY changes the direction of the ball by like 45 degrees and his touch clears it for a corner. Never a pen.

We could be 2-0 easily.Terrible first half with a Napoli with a lot of intensity.
The BBC don't defend so our midfield is totally out played.
I would change any player of the attack for Isco or James

 He got the bloody ball.

I've gone to the bother of recording it for you.

Judging from that, it doesn't look like a pen, Alonso clearly touches the ball as you can see when it speeds up after he touches it.

Alonso seems to be getting the ball in that replay. But the if the ball is still in the reach of the Arsenal player after Alonso touches it, it's still a penalty.

It's gone out of play and would've rolled on a couple of meters.
