I must be missing something. what the feck does Fletcher bring to the team?
Can't control the ball, can't pass, can't tackle, can't do anything.
Giggs played a nice ball to him into the box and what does he do? Didn't even try to make somethign out of it and just plays the ball back to Giggs, opportunity gone. All he does is run, if thats what is required to play in our midfield we should sign one of the Kenyan marathon champs.

We just need to continue the pressure and something will hit the target in the second half.

Fletch has been fine tonight.. he's been part of a team that has dominated the first half and should be winning.

I swear most of you know nothing about the game... a theory backed up by the number of clueless posts claiming Fletch is shit.

Can't even spell football some of you.. let alone understand it

No he's not! He's hard as steele. But I can see where you're coming from.

Plus, he's a United fan and has stated in interviews that if he'd get to choose a club to play for, United would be his choise. You've got to respect that.

Our 3rd choice central midfield pairing has dominated this game. What a shame Scholes wasn't available to us tonight though... I'm sure we'd be ahead if he was.
 
Fletchers done basically almost everything wrong. The few times he's taken a risk and tried to do something creative its resulted in giving the ball away.

and yet... carrying this player we have dominated the midfield, and should be 4-0 up..... the pitch is soaking wet.. and I've seen every player miscontrol it at least once tonight
 
I think we looked really strong the last 20 min. We dominated the pitch and hit the crossbar....It does show us again how badly we need a some of our more experienced players...the midfield does look a little weak...

to right mate he has done his job, not brilliant but ok, I doubt if he and o'shay have played often as the 2 in central midfield

Totally agreed.... RVN's goals only game from the midfield he never won a ball half way line ran to the box and scored...
