Chirst, I would have pissed myself if that Ronaldo effort went in.
 
absolutely dominated the 1st half barring about ten minutes at the start. Park should have scored. Giggs and Ronaldo strike the bar... Giggs another good effort saved.... if we don't win this game we need shooting... 3 points should already be ours..... I hate games like this
 
Good performance so far apart from a few defensive lapses which to be honest are in uninforced so it's not like they're particularly testing us at the back.

Full backs, particularly Evra, are supporting the play really well. I think we're lacking a bit of creativity through the middle, hopefully Carrick will come on in the second half. If he can get on his game then I really feel he will be the difference for us.
 
Can someone who's watching the game please confirm those possession stats? How can we have 12 shots to their 7 when we only had 15% possession? Two websites claim this (BBC and Soccernet).??
 
Fletcher has not improved at all. Actually I miss Fletcher of the last season.
 
We need to get the ball out of midfield quicker, Fletcher and O'Shea are spending far too long pissing about with it. I'd probably take Fletcher off and drop Giggs back in there, maybe bring Richardson on to add a bit more pace up front.
 
Our defence is in good shape apart from those few mins however our midflield is dead... we're missing a few key players and fletcher isn't the man to take over for them.... carrick 4 fletch
 
We definitely lack something in the middle of the park, which is no surprise.

That said, Giggs has been superb, Ronaldo and Saha both very good, and Park, Evra and Brown lively.
Rio's doing a decent job too. Can't say I've noticed O'Shea, Fletcher's just not very good.

Just when i thought it couldnt happen, Fletchers just gone and gotten a whole lot worse. Absolutely rubbish. Giggs should play deeper, hes looked fabulous every time hes been on the ball. Park has looked a bit clueless.
 
Seriously, Fletcher must go.. no near Man Utd quality ffs!

rather take of fletch put park and ronnie in wings and giggs free role.. ole/ rossi as supproting striker.. saha has not imposed himself yet
 
Unlucky not to have at least 2 in the bag. First 10-15 we played like shit, then got into the groove. Wouldn't mind seeing Fletcher come off, pretty much vanished for most of the game. Defense needs to tighten up a bit also.
 
Park isn't good today :/

I would bring in either Richardson or Solskjaer for Park and if Carrick's fit bring him in instead of Fletcher or O'Shea.
 
I'd take Fletcher off, he's not giving us anything at the moment, not even defensively. Bring on Rossi or Ole. And perhaps even Richardson for Park. If Carrick's fit, I'd bring him on for Fletcher.
 
park's finishing doesn't seem to have improved any since last year. I think that's what'll hold him back from being a truely cracking player. He gets into good positions and creates good chances, but just cannot score.
