Charlton vs Manchester United

But these are the games we've struggled with this season, poor sides sticking every man behind the ball and scrapping. We've not had much problem in the bigger games.

With that in mind I think this has been a very good performance so far, we just look far more hungry than in recent weeks. Perhaps Michel is right in that maybe Keano is a bit passive, O'Shea was poor until his part in the 2nd goal, but as a team I think we've pressed all over the pitch, we've made them give us the ball back because all they can do is smack it long.

Not only this season but in 99 or even 00 we played more attacking football. I won't even mention 90' because we were on a different level back then.

Hooray!!!!! Scholes and Fletcher scored! made my week!!

Class players scores class goals :D

didnt see that fletch hit the ball with his backheel to smith, but a fantastic save denied it.

ok i thought it was silvestre.

I hope the goal has given Fletcher more confidence as he is "too afraid" to take command of play. He is playing too much squares and pass backs. If he could at least tackles like Smith and Scholes, then at least he is contributing.
Giggs is "afraid" of injury. Should be rested in 2nd half.
Lucky it is Charlton, if not the midfield will be overan.

Giggs is not on the bench. Phil, Fortune, Ronaldo, Kleberson

lol, I said we should sub Scholes and Giggs, not Scholes for Giggs
