And yet you’ve still won NOTHING and Chelsea and Utd have won league and European trophies in that time.It's how it has been over the past years. Whether it will be remains to be seen.
The complacency of some supporters and clubs is astounding, a complacency that precedes decline. I remember being widely criticised on here some years ago for predicting the break-up of what had been the established top 4. I showed the emerging trend with solid facts and figures, but again this idea of there being such a trend was ridiculed.
But guess what, Chelsea out of the top 4 for the 2nd time in 3 years, Arsenal outside of it for the 2nd year running, United have been outside the top 4 for several of the recent years ... and Spurs are about to finish in the top 4 for the 3rd season running.
No one remembers the time Spurs were in the top 4. It’s a nothing feat. Utd fans hate it, we want to be winning stuff.
