Chelsea under Conte | Let's sign the next Hazard, literally.

I do understand peoples concerns regarding Lukaku but are we just going to ignore the fact that for the last 2 years in a row he outscored Costa whilst playing for a much inferior team, with players a lot less creative? Must count for something surely regardless of all the flaws people seem quick to jump too.

I will be very happy if we get him and actually feel having a striker that wants to play for us and will give 100% all season will benefit us more.

I would say there is very minimal chance of you getting both I agree with the other posts they will both go to separate clubs. IF that did happen though we would have no choice but to buy Belotti or maybe Aubameyang.
 
If the Lukaku to United agreement is true, then Conte will probably be on the verge of walking.
 
Wonder where they go now? U-Turn on Costa's future? Belotti maybe?
 
They are selling Costa and looks like they might miss out on Lukaku...
Who next? Morata? Belotti? or Mbappe?
 
There are still options available in Aubemayang, Belotti & Morata its whether are board can stop being C*nts and actually do their job, we have a high wage structure and are sat on essentially a ton of money. So time for them to do what they actually get paid for and get us a class striker.

Even as an United fans, I don't think we will spend more than 150m or 200m and we probably need more fix in our XI than you do. My guess is probably we will only sign 4 players and get some refund from Rooney, Morgan and Memphis fees.

Chelsea already got about £75m in transfer fees till now and with Costa and other sales it will go up to about £125m. So yes they should be spending atleast £200m this summer.

I doubt they will do that though. With the upcoming stadium and all that. Think the final figure will end up being closer to £150m.

He tried to sign Lukaku at Juve when he left Chelsea originally; supposedly he's long coveted Lukaku because he believes he can play in a 2 or as a lone striker and doesn't feel that way about Morata.

I disagree, I reckon Madrid desperately didnt want to sell to us but will grant Morata's wish to leave for less than was being quoted, around £65-£70m to chelsea

Why did they not want to sell to United? I dont remember there being any sort of bad air b/w Real and United.

Who ever Real sell to, they would want as much money as possible to buy Mbappe. And everyone know Chelsea is flush with cash from the new sponsorship + player sales totaling to £100m+ so the price will not reduce.

Now Chelsea have the problem of being fleeced for a forward. I hope Real Madrid take them to the cleaners for Morata.

There is the small matter of the whole De Gea and the fax machine fiasco, and then us calling Madrid on their bullshit claims later on when they tried to blame us. Don't think we have any issue but stands to reason Madrid may still harbor a grudge hence playing hardball over Morata.
 
Pretty chuffed with how this is going.

Maybe Chelsea should throw £60m at Welbz after he battered them in the cup final.
 
if chelsea looses lukaku to MU and gets Morata that is a blessing in disguise and a strike of luck for them
 
I'm glad the Lukaku deal fell through, the guy has an awful attitude.

Now there's talk we might be in for Belotti. Having Batshuayi and Belotti rotating for spots, or playing 2 strikers sounds pretty solid.

Belotti is a pipe dream. Rumour has it that we are in for Benteke now for about £40m.

If they don't get another striker he'll surely go but lucky for Chelsea there are other good options on the market so he probably won't pull the trigger yet..

Would be a good shout for Chelsea but I still doubt if Cheech can be the main man in a team like Chelsea for an entire season. With Giroud likely to move, Arsenal could do with someone like him to do a job off the bench as well (assuming he wouldn't mind getting rotated).
