Chelsea vs. Manchester United

I hate the long summers, and finishing 3rd will make the wait for the new season a bit shorter
How does that work?

To finish 3rd, we have to lose our last two.

Goal from Carvalho.

We'd better learn from this game.

Ah, the beautiful smell of optimisim is in the air again, this place is so much fun when we lose.
no no, we're okay...just unlucky you know...

Simply terrible. Carvalho was the one who nicked the ball off Ruud in the box and got to our end to score!

I still think we'll finish second, though trying to look on the brighter side of the alternative scenario.
Not that bothered about finishing second, tbh

I don't know if he's as good as Ronaldinho, but he's been holding the United team almost alone today against Chelsea.

he hasnt done anything effective really, should have scored, a couple of shots which is expected from a striker, but to me (in my opinion) rooney is nowhere near as good as people make him out to be, when people say his as good as ronaldinho, its actually not fair to the boy and its disrespecful to the brazilian genius, he has a long way to go before he can effect games like ronaldinho

ronaldo has been shocking to,still just another potential......i understand for him its more difficult since wingers need to have a great midfield to really express themselves but that being said if he doesnt start well, it seems it all goes down hill from their, he needs to learn to keep grafting...he like rooney has all the potential in the world, but they need to do alot more yet to be great players...ronaldo is a better player for portugal not because of the opposition he plays, but because he understands that game more since he was grown into it, rooney should be amazing in games like this since he was brought up in the english league and as to what people say he already is......"white pele".......c'mon, the closest thing to that was fat ronaldo.....so rooney is better than ronaldo now at his peak?

and im not trying to turn this into a rooney vs ronaldo thread or anything like that because i think both are can be great players, but i think they have alot to learn yet, today they were both very dissapointing for me....as was most of the team though

thats fecking so unjust for Rooney. Fair enough we lose the game... but fecking hell.... why do we have to suffer injuries like this?

I thought you lot would like it if Rooney missed the World Cup, but was back for pre-season.

It'd teach the inbred Chelsea cnuts a lesson anyway.

is it serious for rooney? hope he is okey !my tv is 10 mints behind, we are still 2: 0 down to chelsea in here//
