Chelsea vs. Manchester United

We haven't beaten these feckers at home for 10 years or something.

Something has to change tomorrow

RvP got a hatrick last time he played at Stamford Bridge.

Our record in the whole PL era against Chelsea is bad. They are the only side who have a better head to head

They even did the double over us in 93/94 when we were twice as good as everyone else.

If we can win today it will be one of our best league results for a long time.

Dreamt we lost 3-2. More than the result, what hurt me the most was that even in my dream, i was still watching it on the fecking tele. Talk about cheap dreams.

Looking forward to this game.We have a very poor record at the Bridge.

Chelsea's defence is their weakest point.I think we can exploit that today while at the other end we have been so suspect at the back this season it's been unreal.

It's gonna be a good test for both teams.Would take a draw in this tbh.

feck i thought this was on at 1am our time. It's at 3. Could have gone to bed a couple of hours ago but chose to 'stay awake through till 1'. Screwed me for 3am but.

DAMN IT.

3-4, Chicha's winning goal on the 94th min.

I'm looking forward to this game for the simple reason that I'm not expecting anything and would be very pleased with a draw.

Often, on those occasions, the team pleasantly surprise me.

anderson - carrick - cleverley
valencia - van persie - rooney

with that i'm fairly confident of a 3-2 win. hernandez on for valencia if we're trailing.

though i've an awful feeling fergie will bottle it, drop cleverley, and we'll see the inevitable shitfest of an overrun scholes-carrick-giggs midfield three.

Really not confident about this game. A little worried we'll end up with a bit of a spanking to be honest.

It's one of those horrible situations where every sensible fan on the globe appears to want the same thing, and yet it seems somehow inevitable that Fergie will start Scholes, Carrick and Giggs in some horrendous 442. His blind spots are so predictable.

How are people so confident about this?

Well, i dont see anything about them that tells me we'l get spanked. Both us and them have been very good going forward and shaky at the back. In any case, in the big games, the form book goes out of the window. I think it'l be a tight game with either team just about nicking it. Not confident of a win but certainly not expecting us to get comfortably beaten at all.

Just like people here are concerned about Mata and Hazard, they'd be bollocking at the thought of RVP and Rooney.

That'l see us comfortably overrun with the likes of Hazard Oscar and Mata being so fluid in their play.

Common sense tells me that the display against Pool should have told him that the 3 cannot play together but then its been happening every year. On top of that, he credited the win to "experience". So it wouldnt surprise me at all to see all 3 starting.

Carrick needs to start regardless of who plays with him and he will.

Yup. Common sense rarely comes into it when he selects the oldies these days. Twice this season he's as good as identified Giggs as the reason we came back in a match when Giggs was the biggest reason we were playing so badly in the first place.

Plus when we have dominated a game in terms of possession and chances but haven't quite managed to find the net, he will bring Scholes on around 70 minutes, just when we usually start to make good against tiring opposition, and claims that the substitution was the reason for the win. So infuriating. Many might disagree with me, but I think Scholes' relevance in the Southampton turnaround has been vastly overrated, for example. It was already only a matter of time when he came on, because Saints were starting to pay the debt for having played at a hundred miles an hour in the first half.

I predict a 3-2 win for United :) with Chelsea scoring first in the first 10-15 minutes and us again making a comeback. Rooney to score from a penalty :), RvP to score the other two.

The match starts at 4PM UK Time (1hr 15 minutes after this post) the confusion comes from the clocks going back, some of the times are still listed in GMT+1 because computer systems haven't updated for the change in the clocks.

Doesn't this means it will start in 20 minutes?

Google also says 8:30 IST which again means 20 minutes till start.

DST. The clocks got pulled one hour back last night, probably a mess up somewhere related to that.

Kick off is at 16 British time.

Great first half. Here's hoping we can push on a nick a goal in the 2nd. Would like to see Van Persie come on for Giggs.
