Guessing it's going to be Frans Hoek?
Seems so, he's been following Van Gaal everywhere, apparently telling every goalkeeping to play like Van der Sar, straying off his line, etc. So it won't be far away.

VDS please
Was about to point this out.LvG will want to work on his ball playing skills. He'll need a specialist keeper for that, who will match the philosophy of the style van Gaal will seek to implement. He'll probably need to be a man who wants to work cohesively with van Gaal too. The keeper is an important position for Louis. Whilst Woods is a good coach, he just doesn't fit the bill unfortunately. He has done well in improving De Gea's command of the box and making him more of an assertive, vocal player, but that looks as far as he'll go.
I think he's like 58. Is that old for a goalkeeping coach? Woods and Steele are 54 and 59 respectively, I guess it isn't.The guy who trained VDS is most likely to join, I think. He must be like 105 by now.
I don't see why we should keep him. It's not like he's been here for a lot of years really. True, he's done well with our GK's, but TBH, DDG always had it in him, so it would only be fair to think it's his own effort and talent than Woods'.

hes done.
Phil Neville next?
I personally hope so. He just seems utterly useless and what world class player is going to want to take instructions from a player like Phil Neville. We need world class coaches that are well respected or highly knowledgeable and unfortunately Phil Neville is neither of those.

Get rid of everyone linked to Moyes in my opinion. Scrap it and start again.
Mata doesn't count, he is linked to Woody and Agent De Gea.So if you were in charge it's Bye bye mata![]()

That was a joke by me you know Woody with the Helicopter and De Gea doing some tapping up.Listen I know people are disgusted with what happened under moyes tenure but not everything he did was wrong.
If mata thought DM was as bad as fans on this forum he wouldn't of joined!!

Man Utd consider Van der Sar for coaching role
Manchester United could turn to former No.1 Edwin van der Sar to take up the role of goalkeeping coach this summer.
The current occupant of that role, Chris Woods, who was brought to the club by David Moyes, was kept on despite the Scot's sacking and the departure of fellow backroom staff members Steve Round and Jimmy Lumsden.
But Woods is also now set to exit Old Trafford, with the arrival of Louis van Gaal as coach understood to be imminent.
Van der Sar was originally offered a coaching role by Sir Alex Ferguson prior to his retirement from playing in 2011, but turned down the job to spend more time with his family.
The former Netherlands international has remained an ambassador for the club, however, and took a Masters in sports management before becoming a marketing director at Ajax.
But Van Gaal, who coached Van der Sar and Ajax to a Champions League trophy in 1995, could persuade the 43-year-old to return to Old Trafford.
Van Gaal is also understood to have held talks with Ryan Giggs, who took temporary charge of the club following Moyes' sacking, on Wednesday.
