Basically, they have to beat Roma and they can afford to lose against Bayern if the Roma and CSKA game ends in a draw. That and they have to hope Bayern beat CSKA.
The ref wrongly disallowing goals and penalties helped a fair bit.

After Pep killed Bayern´s complete momentum last season with his "over-rotating", I´d expect at least 6-7 regular starters. That should be enough, although not having Sloure to pass around in the middle will hurt Bayern a bit.
