CL 14/15 Group Stage Matchday 4 - October 4th/5th

Said it all along Toure is far worse than he is good. It might have something to do with the fact he offers very little as a CM so playing in a 2 man midfield against 3 CM's is like playing russian roulette.

He should probably be played the furthest forward of a midfield trio as his general play for a CM is very poor most of the time. I would drop Dzeko and play Toure behind Aguero to try and get the best out of him. He is at his best going forward not chasing backwards so at times it looks like City are playing with 1 CM as he is walking around a lot of the time doing very little.

Sick of Hazard winning penalties. The diving cnut. Glad he missed it too with his cocky little run up and pass it into the net approach. Bastard!

Why haven't the media got I too him yet? If that was one of our players he'd be lynched.

They would have to win both games. Not a chance. Then other results would have to go their way as well.

So what you're saying is Liverpool have more chance of getting through than City. Stupid useless Rodgers, what is he thinking. Someone call the journalists and Gary Linekar.

That Toure red card must be the most blatant case of 'ah feck it I cant be arsed anymore with this' I think I've ever seen

Well tonight it was a legit penalty, he doesn't dive that much. He wins lots of penalties because he is so tricky.

Or they could draw Bayern and beat Roma, then hope that Bayern beat CSKA and Roma v CSKA ends in a draw. Would put Bayern first on 16, City second on 6, Roma and CSKA both with 5 points.

Hopefully Bayern smash 'em, even if they've already secured 1st spot anyway.

@Amethyst cheers, what did Nasri do?

Can't find a gif at the moment. He kicked out a CSKA player for no reason, looked about as bad as the Rooney vs. West Ham one. Oddly the ref didn't even give a card. Toure should have been sent off for a second bookable before he went and the ref booked the wrong CSKA player so they should have had ten men too.

SAF said something about them few days ago that surprisingly didn't get enough coverage. He said that there should be questions asked as to why they never dominated a league season like United, Chelsea or Arsenal did at some point. He's absolutely right, they won their two league titles in the least convincing way possible, were trailing in April and needed us and Liverpool and Chelsea to mess up. I never understood why they're treated like an elite team when you add that to their performances in the CL. Obviously they're no mugs as they still won 2 league titles but a top team would surely dominate at least one league campaign and do better in Europe at least once in 3 or 4 years?

Quadruple is still on.
Great support? What great support?

Basically. He goes a bit easy down at times but not as easy as Agüero, who never tries to stay on his feet. It's annoying for some people to watch because United haven't been active at all in the opposition box this season and therefor little chance of them getting penalties like before.

Aguero is well known for his tendency to try and stay on his feet, especially compared to other players. In fact this is the first time I've ever seen someone say Aguero never stays on his feet.

A question to you United fans...

I know, it is best to participate in the competition. But how it runs right now ain't it great to have a laugh about the failure of some other teams?

It's better to laugh at them whilst you're doing well in the competition to be fair, haven't got a leg to stand on otherwise.

City are a complete joke of a club. Will they ever qualify for the group stage?

It wasn't in general, just inside the box. He goes down easily inside the box. It's the South American way to do so. The anomalies are few. Never is going a bit overboard. I shouldn't have phrased it as an absolute.

Rodgers' cowardice, Kompany's tweet, the red cards, what a beautiful CL it's been these past two days :D. Toure , he went from a great player to a big joke in such a short time.

and personally, Pirlo's fk and Juve win.

Portugal has surpassed Italy in the uefa ranking and are now 4th  Impressive for a small nation

If I wasn't so lazy and untalented, I'd make a GIF of Toure shoving the guy with the words, "It...was...my...BIRTHDAY!"
