But individually great goals from him a an extreme rarity for him in recently and people are starting to venture back towards this ridiculous argument where he does it all himself which is simply. I made this with the intention of proving you wrong...



...and it turns out I completely agree. The number of great goals Ronaldo scored this year really dropped off a cliff. He's scored some amazing goals in his time at Madrid but this season for whatever reason that just hasn't happened. Thinking back on it now I've probably seen less of Madrid this year than in any other season that Ronaldo's been there, so I probably wasn't best placed to judge...

Up until then though he did score incredible goals regularly and he's been derided as just a poacher for a lot longer than a season, in fairness. I think that's incredibly unfair given the goals on show in that video.

He did indeed mate. Especially his first season at Madrid he had some wonderful moments of individual brilliance. It was steadily dropping from then on in, but this season it's definitely dropped a great deal more!

If only he had played full 38 games. Would have breached 50 goal in league mark.
 
Can't believe that one guy in the Benitez thread was talking about Ronaldo doing nothing but scoring goals is killing the Real team
 
Great goal scorer, it's just a shame its getafe and not juventus.

He'll win the golden boot (as we know its the last game) but the big trophies elude him this year.
 
Pity his free scoring form didn't arrive few matches earlier when it matters

If it was vs Valencia they'd have won the league, or juventus the cl, fine margins but again those are teams who can defend getafe cant no disrespect to his goals today though

Maybe that's a trick to make him more determined to break it next season or so. Otherwise seems kind of crazy to stop him from breaking the record when he is getting so close.
