A little piece of end of term humour from Pique. In his "thankyou" speech to the fans, team, coaching staff at the treble celebrations, he gave an extra little shoutout: "And thanks a lot to Kevin Roldán. It all began with you".
Roldan was the singer who performed at Ronaldo's 30th birthday party and who put up the video of Ronaldo singing along with him afterwards. Unfortunately for Ronaldo the party took place a few hours after Real Madrid lost 4-0 to Atletico. It all led to a lot of disapproving headlines and recriminations. Following which, Ronaldo decided to stop talking to the press.

I wish Ronaldo gets involved with United in some way or another even if it's after his retirement. His mental outlook, never giving up and always giving a hundred percent, is amazing.

I remember our 08/09 away kit looked exactly like that, that kit looked soo good.
you forget sometimes just how complete a footballer he is at times, because you assume that if hes scoring more than a goal a game other parts of his game suffer.
Strange time to say that when Portugal are drawing against a team with just one point in the qualifiers and Ronaldo's offering precious little creatively.
Not watching the game, just saw the excellent footwork provided in the gif, which tends to get unnoticed at times.
That 'skill' encapsulates Ronaldo nowadays, though. His fancy tricks rarely actually progress the attack, they're just done for the sake of it.
The fact that he is playing up front and in a stupid 4-4-2 that has been atrocious doesn´t help that. Our midfield with Tiago and Moutinho has been embarassing. We´re being dominated by Armenia ffs. He´s been one of the positives. Him up front to accomodate Danny is really mind boggling.

The footwork that caused his team to go backwards? Flamboyance is nice to watch of course, but if we're talking about complete footballers...I don't think that's an accurate description of Ronaldo. Every one of his goals today were perfect finishes though. That's what constantly amazes me.
One man army, whether for club or Country. Sigh.
He is a striker those days, make no mistake he has changed a lot for the last 2 years. Not so involved in build up play anymore. More lethal than ever though.
