The graphic is stupid.

His record against Sevilla, Bilbao is ridiculous. The game v Sevilla this season is the first time he hasn't scored a hatrick agains them in like 3 years.

He has a very good scoring record v Barca.

In fact, it's only this season where he can be accused of being a flat track bully. The previous seasons he always seems to score / deliver in big(gish) games.
Just proves you can basically prove anything with statistics, as long as you find a small enough sample size.

Remember the you-know-who can't score against English teams one a few years ago?

The problem with this is it's not just Ronaldo that hasn't performed in these matches, it's the whole Madrid team.

Problem is more that even ignoring the stats he was tragically bad in the big games so far this season. It's a lot of the Madrid team yeah, but he's the man that needs to step up, he didn't do it.

334 goals in 320 games for Madrid so far.

Compare this to Raul and L. Ronaldo. They scored together 427 goals for Madrid in about 910 games. So, if Ronaldo scores 100 goals over the next 130 games for Madrid, he will have more goals than Raul and L. Ronaldo combined in half as many games.

So his career has come full circle to where he is considered a big game flop again?

For me the guy is Empty stats nowadays.

UCL this season, 11 goals (or 12 I don't know): 5 vs Shaktar and 6 vs Malmoe

De los 21 goles de Cristiano esta temporada, 16 han sido al Espanyol, Malmo y Shakhtar.

0 goles al Barça, Atlético, Sevilla y PSG.

From 21 goals, 16 to Espanyol, Malmoe and Shaktar. No goals vs Barcelona, ATM, Sevilla & PSG.

What a player, even his decline is probably better than any other players in the past during their decline

Seems a bit harsh to use his failure to score against Sevilla this season against him given his stupidly good record against them.

EDIT: And what a 4000th post this really is. The crowd goes wild.

he's not the same but then we forget who's the coach, last year they played really good but injuries and poor rotation made them pay at the end, then they fired the best coach/manager they had in years and hired a big flop.

Exactly. The manager is useless and most of Madrid's creative players have suffered injuries this year. Ronaldo has been playing out of position to cover the injured Benzema.

That last line had a whiff of Stewie Griffin in the olympics.

Never realised Voldemort had time to play football, what with oppressing the wizard world and hunting down Harry Potter.

Strange, no comments today. Thought it would be top of the thread pile.

He has an unbelievable appetite for goals. Sometimes even bordering on obsession.

Rafa you proper WUM.

I mean there is no harm looling at different techniques for free kicks.

Ronaldo's attitude suggests he's doing nothing wrong when clearly he is because his free kicks are shocking.

If he was banging them in like normal then it would be out of line.

I often wonder what happened to Ronaldo's free kick ability.

He was insane at Man Utd, he'd score them all the time, he scored two against us in one match. Very strange really, it's not like his change in style from flashy to efficient will have affected it. Maybe being so good at them for so many years caused him to feel a lot of pressure to score from them, and he feels the pressure too much when it comes to free kicks. I don't know.

FSW has the balls to say what he thinks.. deserves some credit for that and Ronnie's FK's are shite. He should have been removed from such duties ever since Bale arrived.

A penalty, and a goal against 9 men when Real are 5-2 up. What a player

Ronaldo must be furious with his teammates and the game today, both Bale and Benzema scoring hat tricks leaving him only on two goals.
