I don't get people like you. I think you are more of hater of one than fan of other.
Err ok.

Wait, what?I don't get people like you. I think you are more of hater of one than fan of other.
what?Wait, what?![]()
I am not blaming Ronaldo for Real´s lack of silverware. The team is build around him for 6 years. He is their key player and everyone is playing for him. His team-mates are no slouches either. He bears some responsibility.Come on this is nonsense. If a player in your team is scoring 60+ goals in a season. There isn't more that player can do. And lets be honest a huge reason for madrid's down fall has never been their attack. Defensively they have always been an absolute joke.
I know you're Argentinian, but to say Messi carried Barca on his own, good grief that's just so wrong.
What you said made no sense. You don't have to be a rabid fanboy of one or the other, and not being one doesn't make you a hater of both.what?![]()
It very well makes sense if you know history of posters who are desperate to come to this thread and post shit half way into the game. Their hate is too obvious to see. It is laughable when such people go on acting like they 'understand' football. What you said made no sense. You can make the argument that Barca was simply to strong and that is partly true. Yet if you analyze why Barca is on another level, at least part of the answer is Messi (yes I know that this is not the only reason for their strength). Messi is regularly doing things, that Ronaldo hardly does at all since he plays for Madrid. He is running past people for fun, which is one of the most important attributes for an attacking player. Yes, Ronaldo is a decent dribbler himself (he was exceptional, while playing for us), but he doesn´t even come close to Messi´s ability to beat players in 1v1s.
Barca isn´t a one-men team at all, but they are still build around Messi and the little Argentine delivered most of the time regardless of the quality of the opposition. The same can´t be said about Ronaldo.
That has nothing to do with me not being Argentinian.![]()
I hope he leaves Madrid this summer, I would really like to see a Madrid team without him scoring 50 goals a season. It is just so funny to see United and Liverpool fans putting down tap ins and goals against smaller teams, both teams would be challenging for the title if they had a player who could score so frequently against bottom half teams.

It makes little sense to look at defense and offense on its own.
Do you know what 'so far' means?
Overall he had a poor game again anyway, with one moment of magic. Which is fine on an isolated basis but really he needs to start influencing games over 90 minutes.
But why would people look back after 45 mins? Strange.
How the feck is it strange? People comment throughout matches.
Is fecking strange because you wanted people to look back at the half in a 5 min window from the moment you posted to when the second half started. Stop digging a bigger hole mate.
What?
That's like saying people who post during minute 15/20/28/whatever in a match thread are strange because no one will look at them a minute later. You're being way too defensive here, it's embarrassing.
Nah, you know full well when you said 'people look back at this game, all they'll see is the goal' meant when people look at the game when it's finished they'll just see he scored a penalty.
Answer my question, why would people only look back at the first 45 mins of a game and draw conclusions about the entire game from there?
Honestly, are you a moron? I never said that. You're picking up on some implication that isn't there.
To spell it out to you - I was saying that was a typical Cristiano 45 minutes. Poor performance, 1 goal. Even looking at the entire 90 minutes and my point is the same, anyone who looks at the stats (2 goals) will say he's had a good game when he was poor bar 1 moment.
There's no 45/90 minutes differentiation made by me, that's all you.
Another incredibly poor performance from him so far but looking back people will just see the goal
Kindly explain "but looking back people will just see the goal" part?
It looks like a fairly simple sentence to understand in fairnessKindly explain "but looking back people will just see the goal" part?
I remember a Fergie interview where he was asked about Ronaldo tracking back and he said he didnt want Ronaldo to track back at all, wanted him to stay high at all times. He should have tracked back more.

I wish we had players with this kind of week in week out poor performance. Strange. Did you happen to mention why you thought his performance was poor?
Ronaldo is basically "done" and he's not the player he used to be, read somewhere in a Portuguese newspaper that Ronaldo doesn't practice free kicks for at least 2 years because of his knee problem and a Portuguese doctor told Ronaldo not to play the WC because he could get a bad injury on his knee. He needs to stop a few months like Messi did but he's stubborn as a donkey. Even RM and the coaches keep saying Ronaldo is okay but I don't believe because in first place he used to have 1 gazillion shots per game, only because he's older doesn't mean he cant shoot anymore, 2nd his free kicks sucks and last years was the same, 3rd he moved to the central position which he always hated because he will be at risk if someone tackles him when running the way he used too.
I didn't, but since you asked - same reason most of his performances haven't been good this season. Not involved enough in the game, aside from a few wayward shots. Poor is probably harsh, but I expect more from players (especially someone of his level) than one great shot.
For what it's worth I criticised Benteke for the exact same thing today, it's not like I only do it with Cristiano like some think. To me a good performance isn't 1 moment in an otherwise quiet/average 90 minutes, it's about influencing the game throughout.
I checked whoscored. Ronaldo had 2 goals, 8 shot attempts with 3 on target. 24 passes with an 83% success rate. 4 crosses, only 1 accurate. 2 dribbles, 1 offsides, dispossessed 3 times. What do you expect to see in a good performance?
I just think you, as are all of us, are seeing the evolution of CR7 into a super-Chicharito poacher. I don't think we can judge Ronaldo based on past successes and performances anymore, I think now we have to start judging his statistics in a different context. Yeah the number of touches might be abysmal, but for a poacher those stats indicate a solid performance. That's pretty much the perfect summary of my argument: not involved aside from 1 great goal (plus a penalty) and a few wayward shots. Those are the stats of a player not very involved in the game. Out of the Madrid players who played 90 minutes, only Nacho had less minutes. Even Keylor Navas touched the ball more.

We can't say the same for our team though. I am not even sure that if you set United up to let Rooney (or Martial) score, if you could at all, we'd be scoring. His whole team is playing for him to get goals. A lot of them are sacrificing themselves so he is always able to be in position.
If he was more of a team player could it be possible that Real Madrid would be a better team?
I suppose we can't really know but his team are all making sure he is getting the goals.
Messi moved out on the wing last season to accommodate Suarez rather than him getting his way and wanting Suarez to play for him.
I think it's call 'put as many balls into the opponents net as possible'Basically, Ronaldo is in need of a philosophy!
A forward player and whose main task in team seems to be scoring, is not involved in each and everything shocker. As I said, people who think they 'understand' football needs to really 'understand' it.Kindly explain "but looking back people will just see the goal" part?
