Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United

the front 4 is excellent but yeah we need to allow them to have possession of the ball near the palace penalty box. carrick and fellaini have a job here.

At least we actually have a player who can contest in the air now (Fellaini).

Only when he plays in CM he's never anywhere near their box, hasnt been anywhere near a set piece and so on. The closest he's come to being a threat in the air for us is when we get desperate and toss him behind the striker. He's headed a few things on there.

He has won headers this season but in the center circle where its not likely to trouble a goalkeeper

If this set up works I hope it sets you up for the rest of the season and you beat City and Liverpool.

A genuinely exciting selection we've got there. It's all set up for us to win. Surely the quality out there means we won't cock this one up.

I can't wait to see how these attacking players link up with each other.

MATA ROONEY JANUZAJ AND RVP!!! Thank you Moyes, you've heard our prayers at last!

Thing is we often start singing when see a team like this on paper and then the results are shit compared to what you imagine it would be. I really hope that won't be the case this evening.

Looking forward to seeing what Fellaini can do.

How long has it been since we last saw United fans supporting us and us supporting United in games?

Add a couple of dynamic, exciting CM's behind that front four and suddenly that team looks great. Really hope we sort out the CM this summer.

So true. Sometimes the setup against us completely nullifies our lineup, which is incredibly frustrating. It's up to the manager to make sure this setup is the most threatening it can be against what they line up against.

Also, that's a lot of left foot in that attack, 3 out of the 4 players!

Really am expecting a good performance here. We've had a necessary break due to the FA Cup and it should have allowed us to work on a few aspects of our game. I think the reason we haven't seen this front four before hand is due to Moyes not being completely prepared to do so. We've had time now to focus on incorporating them into the side and hopefully we'll be able to successfully utilise them together.

I hope so anyway, because if we have another lacklustre performance with them all in the side i'll be quite worried.

Rooney to pick it up from midfield deep and create lots of llink up with Mata.

I think with carrick he can afford pushing forward more, i don't expect him to be the menace he was at everton, but, we desperately need our midfield to contribute to our attacking play and clevelry can't find that edge anymore, Fellaini has it in him to play that role imo.

That front 4 make me a bit wet to be honest! Hope they give us something to get excited about, although just the 3 points would be the main thing.

The three points is barely relevant, the main thing is surely to see some signs the team is making progress in terms of playing style.

I'm refusing to get excited until we actually win and play well at the same time. So much false hope this season only for the team to play pathetic.

3 points would be nice,I just want to see a team playing has a team and looking like they want to play for United, and not the crappy football we have been subjected to pin the past few games.

Of course the 3 points is relevant, we want to be as high up the table as possible and if those teams above us start faltering we could be closer to that 4th spot than we thing, admittedly as unlikely as that is.

I know we want to see a team play nice football but we need a team that can win football matches.

It's kind of funny that we're all relieved and delighted we finally get to see our best players on the pitch together, like it's some sort of big deal
You would think that would be the norm, but not at United!

Also i hope we bring on Kagawa for Rooney or Rvp to give them a rest, and we see januzaj-Kagawa-mata together

Ridiculous front 4, no balance, no midfield,

United 6 - Palace 0

I'd much rather see us trying to develop an attractive footballing style for the rest of the season than play shite and win most games 1-0 or 2-1. That front four has the potential to play a lot better football than we have been watching so far...
