Day 15: Japan vs Poland, Senegal vs Colombia, England vs Belgium, Panama vs Tunisia

Shame. Would have been the first real test for England and the chance of a very good game.

Now theres an in-built excuse if we lose.
Yeah, both teams don't know what they want from this game :)

You make 8 or 9 changes and leave only one of the two players who are on yellows. Southgate at his finest.

Both teams are lined up with the target of losing. This will go down as a World Cup classic, shite ones though.

Really hope neither Belgium or England win this world cup now.

Knowing both teams, I'm not exactly asking for much.
I wouldnt put it down to avoiding top spot. Every team will rest players in the 3rd game if they can do so while still going through. Stupid not to tbh. Russia, Croatia, France, did so, and probably some others (even Japan today, more questionably as most thought they needed a result actually).

Japan-Brazil is a much harder route to the SF than Colombia-Switz/Swe.

Belgium another yellow there

That's 4-2 to BEL on yellows

Tielemans looks good on that right side of midfield. Could be our perfect extra young midfielder signing.

I'd argue that Japan + Brazil is not all that more difficult combination of games compared to Colombia + Switzerland/Sweden.

Do red cards count in this tie-breaker or is it just pure yellows?
