Sweden just don't look good. Are England seriously going to get to a world cup final without facing a better team than belgium's reserves? lol
I live in Germany and this is all I hear from the Schadenfreude mob … it's lose-lose: if you win you're simply lucky with the draw; if you lose you're shit because you were the favourites so it doesn't count.

Sweden pushing means we should see more ball. As long as Gareth doesn't think about defensive subs like against Columbia we should be OK
I'd be happy if he doesn't think about defensive subs, as it gives us a better chance of scoring.

A lot of flicks from the Swedes... which inevitably leads to a loss of possession

After an equally easy group, Belgium had to take on a surprisingly good Japanese side then Brazil - next up they have to play a French team that I think are favourites to win the tournament, sorry if I wont pretend Colombia minus James, Sweden and possibly Russia is quite the same.

England are having a successful world cup, but to me they should absolutely have been expected to beat Colombia (missing their star player), Tunisia, Panama and a Sweden team that so far looks utteerly toothless

How refreshing to see two teams just getting on with the game. No amateur dramatics.

Not only do England have the luckiest draw, they are gonna reach the final while playing championship football.
