At least where know where the money would be going if he does sign a new contract. Buying his mate all the pies.
Interestingly, no Dave. Too busy having a rest in Madrid.
Ah. That makes more sense. No, DDG was with the Spanish international squad in June. The players in training at the moment are the members of the squad who weren't part of international squads last month.
Why are people turning on De Gea? He's not come out to say anything publicly.
I think there may have been an element, with Rooney, of people feeling like we had a player for life. Great player, English, from the North West, not the kind of guy who'd want to go to live abroad. So there was a sense of betrayal at the mere possibility of him leaving. Whereas, being Spanish, from Madrid no less, means (maybe) people never had the same expectations that De Gea would stay forever. Hope yes. But not that assumption. If he does end up staying, will he initially receive the same treatment Rooney received post-"wanting to leave" saga?
I personally didn't agree with the treatment Rooney received as after all, he was our player and it's ridiculous not supporting a player of ours. But I imagine because of some people's general dislike of Rooney, that played a part in it. I'm sure those who cursed Rooney once they knew he was staying, won't exactly be doing the same with De Gea.
Some may argue that De Gea has gone about his business a bit better than Rooney, but apart from the reasons of wanting to leave I don't really see a mighty difference between the two. Rooney stayed schdum throughout the debacle, like De Gea.
Just curious is all.
has he always left no club information in the twitter account info?
For me...
Because he is acting like a pussywhipped clown. "Resting" in Madrid after using all his energy taking tacky public love photos with some no-hit wonder Spanish pop-tart. She has taken his balls and is controlling them just like she's cupping the sun in that awful Yoko photo, and he is inviting her to do it. He doesn't even have a house in Manchester anymore. Training starts in two days but his shirt says he's "tired". Taking an Edurnity to address his contract situation like a scared little bitch must be wearing him out.
My biggest anger was Rooney openly criticising our team and ambitions (at a time when we were actually better, that means winning titles/reaching CL finals) and not barely making top 4. If DDG issues a similar statement to Rooney's, and to top it all hours before a CL game, yes then he should leave United immediately as far as I am concerned. If he does end up staying, will he initially receive the same treatment Rooney received post-"wanting to leave" saga?

Welcome to real life Americano, its not being a bitch to make sacrifices for his long term girlfriend, to move back to the city where all his family live. Amazingly, he seems to place the happiness of his loved ones above you. He is dealing this the situation as professional as possible. For me...

I dont know though. In retrospect its easy to make the case that Rooney's remarks were justified. The team was still winning at the time but even at that time a lot of fans were getting increasingly frustrated about the lack of investment in certain positions, for example midfield. And very soon after his comments that lack of investment had caught up with us and most people unequivocally accepted our squad lacked quality, including our new manager. My biggest anger was Rooney openly criticising our team and ambitions (at a time when we were actually better, that means winning titles/reaching CL finals) and not barely making top 4. If his remarks were justified or not is a different debate (and at that time they weren't justified at all as we were either winning the PL or losing it just by one point or goal difference - and this went on 3 years after Rooney made the comments, and three years is a very long time in football).I dont know though. Maybe he shouldnt have aired his view publicly, or maybe it needed saying. Maybe he had raised concerns that Chelsea and City were out buying much better players than were and it was going to catch up with us, maybe he was ignored. Who knows. But setting aside the question of whether he should have said it, I think he has been completely vindicated in the view itself.

Plus a perception that Rooney maybe was trying to force a move, the desire to leave came first and the buyer came after. Whereas in De Gea's case, the buyer came knocking first, creating that desire to move. The other way around. That might make a difference? (especially as the buyer isnt a PL rival).
I think the bottom line is more what you said though. Rooney has always divided opinion and i dont think some people needed much reason to turn on him - after the first threat to leave.
I dont think anyone will give De Gea a seriously hard time, I sincerely hope not because it would be idiotic if they did.
You want to talk about reality, ivaldo? What kind of professional football player has a comitted and publicly sickening relationship at the age of 24? What kind of man is this? I have to question his understanding of the planet on which we live. There are few men in the world in a better position to have a variety of relationships with a variety of women who will not put demands on him or his career that he does not want. The time to settle down and focus on one woman is when his career is winding down, THEN and only then do you pick out a younger woman and start taking lame pictures on instagram.
But Dave won't listen to reason, he won't listen to his agent, and he sure as feck doesn't understand how all this works. The dumb bastard probably thinks he's found "the one" and will be "in love" for all Edurnity.
It's a great strategy. I'd rather him leave for a free next year than sell on the cheap to Madrid, they're not bullying us into this. Plus, the way management will be spinning this to Dave will be "Well, if they wanted you enough, they'd pay what we're asking because we feel you're completely worth it. Maybe they don't feel you're as important as we do".I love that we're playing hardball.

If he'll read that stuff someday and won't even chuckle then there's really no hope for the lad.

Think some of them lost their patience with him. You want to go to your family,to your gf where she works(even not sure how good is she in that),you really want to go home and play in that circus of the club? Just place a transfer request, its kinda simple.Maybe those who painting him as a wuss are right.

If he signs an extension and spouts the usual bollocks players spout about loving the club, what'll be the general feeling towards him form the fans?

Big fat meh. Him wanting to move is the most obvious choice in the world. If he stays all well and good, we'll have a great keeper. If he leaves people will fawn over him and ask him to come 'home'. The whole thing is a load of old cork, basically. If he signs an extension and spouts the usual bollocks players spout about loving the club, what'll be the general feeling towards him form the fans?
